Today isn't just like any ordinary day for Matias Princes and Princesses. Well, there are no ordinary days for them because they're royals. The day is perfect to ride their horses but instead, they were all gathered inside of the Gazebo to talk about what they heard a while ago, the arguments of the King and Queen Matias. After a long wait, finally, the second daughter of the family arrived at the meeting place.

Lucifero cuts her off with a raise of a hand and gestured her to sit down. Luana took a seat beside her sister, Mathasuenta. Delicacies were scattered on the dining table. Dozens of sweets, cakes, and cupcakes, making the table look colorful and delightful. There are also teas that they personally liked. Luana poured a chamomile tea on her teacup and watches her oldest brother, who is walking from side to side, arms crossed.
"I heard that he's coming today," Lucifero said as he stopped and faced them.
"Who's he?" said Alfonso then he took a sip of his tea.
"Our brother from Sicily," Lothair said.
His hair is messy and he looks like he just got up from his beloved bed. Everyone understands why he looks like this. It's just 8 am and it's not his normal morning routine to wake up this early. Probably, he can't even reject his brother's invitation because he was told that this is an important meeting and they all must attend or else they will be unlucky for the day.
"Brother? Aren't we all complete today? Is there one of us missing?" Merovecho sarcastically asked. He looked at his vintage pocket clock, pissed. He's supposed to go to the newest shop in the town to visit it. He got the news that they serve very good coffee. He wants to try it and it was planned this morning but unfortunately, because of the sudden meeting, he's here drinking his favorite tea instead of coffee.
"Stop being so sarcastic, Erov. As you've heard if you're really listening, we're talking about our brother from Sicily, Italy. I got the news that starting today, he'll be living with us until a certain time." Mathasuenta said before she took a bite of her strawberry shortcake.
"Then why did Father and Mother argue? Is it because of him?" Luana asked curiously.
She's been waiting for this day to happen. She wants to see her stepbrother and personally know him. All of the gossip, rumors, and news she heard made her excited to look after the arrival of her stepbrother. She also wants to be close to him since she's close to all of her siblings. After all, she's the youngest in the family. She receives full love and support from the people around her, even the people in the whole Matias Kingdom.
"They argued about Mother's mistake a long time ago," Lucifero said.
He's now pouring tea in his teacup. He wants to calm his mind because of overthinking too much. He sure got a lot to think about and one of them is Costello, the stepbrother from Sicily, Italy. He wants to treat him as how he treats his siblings. But the problem is that he heard a rumor that Costello is not that approachable. He's quiet, smart but cold, and short-tempered similar to Lothair's personality, except Lothair is not quiet. He's thinking about how Erov (Merovecho) and Costello will be comfortable with each other. Knowing how Erov's being sarcastic and such a devious man, he doesn't think that they will be on good terms.
"That's almost two decades ago and still Father can't get over it? Oh, man." Erov said. He was about to stand up when a butler interrupted them. The butler bowed first before he said what brought him there.
"Your Highnesses, Signore Costello Porrello finally arrived at the palace. The King and Queen want all of your presence to greet him in the white drawing room." Mathasuenta thanked the butler and stood up as the maid went off.
"We need to go now, brothers. Luana, come with me for a moment. We need to stop first at Mrs. Helena's greenhouse. I want to get flowers today for my room. You can wait for us in the drawing room brothers, I promise it'll be quick." Mathasuenta said and hold Luana's left wrist. They started walking to the other side of the Garden of Fleur on the way to Mrs. Helena's house, leaving the princes in the Gazebo.
The princes stood up and suit themselves. Lothair tried to fix his hair with his bare hands but he failed. So, he let it that way. Alfonso took the last bite of his cookie before finishing his cup of tea. He brushed his white coat and started walking together with Lothair back to the palace, while Lucifero stopped Merovecho as he was about to go after the two older brothers.
"Just a favor, I want you to get the hell the word 'sarcasm' out of your system. I don't want you and Costello to misunderstand each other furthermore. I know you're not comfortable with him but at least, give him a chance." Lucifero tapped his left shoulder before walking the way back to the palace. Merovecho just shrugged it off and heaved a sigh. He knew he didn't like what Costello did in their first meeting but as his brother said, he'll give him a chance.
"Must not disappoint me this time Costello or you'll never get another chance at all," Merovecho said to himself then went on his way to the palace.
