I once thought that life was like Barbie stories

Full of fun and blissful memories

Have best friends that will forever be by your side

Love you even when they have no reasons too

A family that understands you

Even when you can't place the words right.

Funny how I describe life before.

But as I get older

I realise my good times and bad

Are for me alone to shoulder.

But here is what's really foolish of me

I always want to keep that smile in people's face

Even when it's just me, in my own lonely days

can't share my odds with my mother, it will cause her too much worry

now I know not all pains could be relieved with the word 'sorry'

So why bother anyway

I just hid it deep in my heart

It's hard but I got to try

Alas, I get too sad to cry.
