Chapter 1
I took a shower, it was the best feeling in a long time. I ate food, the good kind. Then I sat on my satin couch, it felt... I don't know how to explain it, but it was amazing. My dog, Macy, got back from the pound. The dog was happy to see me and so was I.
I had a nap with Macy, she laid on my chest the whole time. it took a while for me to get used to the smell of my house, it's not like the rotting cell I've been in for fifteen years. Then I sat outside for no more than an hour, since that's what I'm most comfortable with.
My therapist told me I should try going to the park, down by the water to get away from the house. I'll be honest, it's been three weeks and I still haven't taken her advice. I feel that personally I need to take smaller steps, and I'm not ready to get out into the real world yet.

Chapter 2
How do I start this, I've been in prison for fifteen years for killing the mother of my son. Now this all might sound crazy at first, but believe me it was for a good reason. let me start at the beginning.
It was January 29, 2009. My son, Aron was born. The most handsome thing that could ever exist, his mother, Clare was sick at the time with CAD, Coronary Artery Disease. It had been an ongoing concern ever since she was a child, the doctors said there wasn't anything to be done, but supply her with as much medication that would help.
My son was sadly born with a weak heart, so we had to undergo countless surgeries to try and better him. Nothing ever worked though, Clare only cared about the money that would be put into getting the treatment. Now, all I wanted was for my son to live. I wanted him to have the life I never got to have, but that lying piece of... she tried to take him away from me. Any sensible father would do everything to get their child out of harms way, I did what I had to.
I woke up to find my wife out of bed, and the sound of crying coming from Aron's nursery. I was confused as to why he would be up at four in the morning, since he was pretty good at falling and staying asleep. I didn't want to make the situation worse by making too much noise coming up the hallway - we had very loud, creaking floor tiles at the time. So I crept my way to the room, and that's when I wished I'd taken my mothers advice to choose wisely who I married. It was to late.
I found her drawing bags of blood out of Aron, he was only seven months old. Clare and Sara, My mother-in-law, always had these insane conspiracy theories that injecting blood into someones veins would apparently heal any sickness. She tried to cure her own health by doing so. You might think this is all fake, but trust me this is no fairy tale. This was a real life horror story.
Sit back, but not too far or you might end up like me.

Chapter 3
I saw everything. To the way she looked in Aron's eyes, like there was nothing more exquisite than watching his tears roll off the sides of his silk olive cheeks. She knew I was looking, I could smell the blood lingering off her hands, and it seeped through the rooms air. It's sent, the blood, was like the rust of a 1968 dodge charger. But then it hit me, it had always smelled like that I just never realized it. She gazes at me with the most reassuring smile, as if what she was doing was nothing but normal.
