Green can mean any of the following depending on which variant you look at it can mean any of the following; New Life, Spring, Renewal, Energy, Harmony and even Safety.
Now that makes the color green sound all well and good however, like any human being it has a darker side to that many don't notice for green also have variant's that mean the Rot, Depression, Greed, Envy, Betrayal and even Death
