Hey Brilliant, have you ever seen the flowers in the summer?

Of how the bees hum like the engine of a Hummer?

Of how the grass sways in the breeze?

And of how the pollen in the air makes you sneeze?

Crazy, how've you been?

Summer nights are dark and quiet.

Reminds me of when we began,

Of our insanity, don't try to deny it.

Deny it I can't,

It grows like a plant,

But embrace it, maybe,

Choose it? We'll see.

We can't choose insanity.

It grabs you by the hand and pulls you in.

Insanity chooses you and me.

Embrace the crazy, and you'll always win.

And what about brilliant, Brilliant?

Do we choose that, or is it sent?

Is it something we grow,

Or do we float in the flow?

That's harder to discern.

You really have to want it.

Brilliance must be earned.

You can't just up and quit.

No truer words have been said,

But brilliance can go to your head,

So it can be the crazy,

Making things go hazy.

That is where the struggle is.

You have to find the right proportions.

It isn't rocket science.

It's our mind that creates the distortions.

OH! The mind, the brain,

The root of the insane!

Such a fragile thing,

For it's by words and object swing!

That’s exactly it, my dear old friend.

Here the lines are blurred, Crazy.

No one is safe from being mocked without end,

Because they are not brilliant, but lazy.

On and on, this road we could walk,

Day and night, this topic we could talk.

But for now, I shall break.

And see what way my brain will take.
