When I was a young girl, I loved to write. I made lots of books in my childhood. I didn't write as well as I do now, but it certainly felt like my purpose.
It sounds silly, but from a young age, I have had good grades in English. It's my favorite subject, and I love learning about it.
It's surprising, to most people, that I've really succeeded in writing multiple grammatically accurate novellas of my own even though English was not my first language.
Even more, I speak some of the hardest languages in the world. I speak Ukrainian, Russian, and English. So, I'm trilingual. But, normally, it would be hard for Russian and Ukrainian speakers to learn English. I learned English as a child, because I moved to America when I was young.

Now, let's talk about writer's block.
Writer's block is something that many people suffer from. It is the state in which a writer cannot think of what to write or does not have much inspiration.
I have it most of the time. In fact, most of the time I am supposed to be writing, I am just thinking.
To get rid of writer's block, I...
✿ I watch TV. Yes, it's true. Even though I love reading and writing, I do watch television. It really helps. I watch Disney movies, which helps me develop plots and points of views.
✿ I jot down words. I close my eyes, and think of random words. Then, I jot them down and develop ideas off of them later.
✿ I listen to music. Music lyrics may be something that also inspires you. The central idea of a song can be relevant to you. You could jot down ideas that you like. Ask a friend to make a playlist for you, and listen to and/or read the lyrics.
✿ I look at my surroundings and jot down a list of things I observe. An idea might also come to mind from something I observe around. I infer what is happening with the person or item I observe and develop a story plot.
✿ Read quotes. I go online and read inspirational quotes. I read a few, and base my story off of the main lesson of the quote or around the central idea.
✿ Read a book. What helps me sometimes is reading other's work. I don't copy them, but jot down a few ideas. I also may jot down a few notes about the outlining, research, and ideas.

So, those were some of my main strategies to help get rid of writer's block. I have more, but that's all I will be sharing for now.
I might write another blog like this about something else, or continue writing about this certain topic.
Thank you for reading! ♡
