I have written many short stories and someone told me once that they could see my personality and beliefs in the stories that they have read. This was very interesting. I can see that it is obvious that a person writes from their heart and in this way, a reader can see into the author's soul.
It was a psychiatrist that advised me to start writing. She advised that I could write about some traumas I had in my life. Writing could be a good way to get them off my chest. I did listen to her in a way. I wrote stories which were inspired by some trauma or event in my life. This worked. It was a nice way to vent and clean my soul. One of the interesting things is people wrote to me saying that they could mirror themselves in some of the characters in my stories. Some wrote that reading the stories in some way has helped them. This is a very special feeling that in some way my writing may have helped someone or touched them. As strange as it may sound, being able to make people think and touch their hearts means more than any possible financial gain.
At the same time, I am still humble. I consider myself an amateur and can understand when some do not like my stories.
So now I have rambled on and on, I can explain what society radio is. Society radio is a direct way for me to vent and express my feelings about what is happening in the world, with certain people and events and views we read about and of course my life.
Like everything else you read on the internet, these are my views. Everything I write is pulled from the public domain and I am using them under the fair dealings guidelines. Everything I say is my own opinion. It does not mean it's the truth.
This gives the reader a responsibility. When you read anything, you must think and conclude your views. This is done by seeking more information and other opinions. As my grandmother always said, "There are two sides to every coin."
