In a world of constant turmoil and conflict, two neighboring kingdoms, Thalabed and Alkuthban, found themselves at the brink of war. They fought for land, one which both countries believed to belong to them. The lands of Mortar brought tension between the kingdoms which had been escalating for months, with each side amassing troops and preparing for battle.
One day, a telegram arrived at the palace of Alkuthban, bearing news that would change the course of history. It was from the opposing country, Thalabed, and it proposed a peace agreement. The terms were simple: both countries would stop fighting each other because they both had suffered losses, and the agreement was for the future king of Thalabed to marry the future queen of Alkuthban.
There was one reason for this peace agreement.
The people of Mortar grew increasingly restless as the war between the kingdoms raged on. Anger and frustration began to brew within their hearts as they vehemently rejected the idea of both Alkuthban and Thalabed ruling over them. The streets of Mortar erupted with protests, escalating into full-blown riots. The once peaceful city of Mortar became a battleground as the people, fueled by their desire for independence, started amassing their own army. With a united voice, they declared the land to be a sovereign kingdom, the Kingdom of Mortar, appointing their own king, Dhib Omer. His name stood true, for he had created his army of wolves, the Darmasiyah Wolves who fought the battles of Mortar. The Malek Dhib made one vow to his people - they would get their revenge for those endless years of torment caused by the war between Alkuthban and Thalabed.
Faced with the daunting prospect of the formidable uprising, a peace treaty was hastily negotiated between the kingdoms of Alkuthban and Thalabed in a desperate attempt to quell the growing unrest and prevent further bloodshed. The peace treaty also forged one more thing, an alliance. It presented a united front in front of the Kingdom of Mortar.
The King of Alkuthban was sitting in his study, deep in thought, as he read the contents of the telegram. His advisors were waiting anxiously for his response. He knew that this was a critical moment in the history of his kingdom. He weighed the prospects of the proposal. His daughter was none but a child of three years of age. He could not bear selling her fragile soul, what with her barely having a say. He sat, his mind drumming with a sense of despair as he came to a conclusion. There was no other choice but to accept the offer.
With a heavy heart that night, the King of Mortar began to write a letter back to the King of Thalabed, formally accepting the proposal. He knew that this would mean sacrificing his daughter’s happiness and future, but he also understood that it was for the greater good of his people. He hoped that the marriage would bring peace and stability to the region and put an end to the years of conflict. He hoped that the alliance would provide safety from the future prospects of the newly forged Kingdom of Mortar in case they did eventually raise a war.
Little did he know that this decision would have far-reaching consequences, not only for Alkuthban and Thalabed but for the entire world. The fate of two kingdoms was about to be forever intertwined, and the outcome of this union would shape the course of history for generations to come. Not only that, but the tension between the two allied kingdoms and Mortar had only grown tremendously. So much so that a new war had begun.
