A Race at School...77Please respect copyright.PENANA7aIgar0neK
Since I was in the first aid club, we had been taught that some people are prone to fainting during a race or after a race. So, I then entered the next race to “test” out the theory. I ran as fast as I could up until the point when my chest started hurting, like I was being prickled by pins and needles, and at the same time I couldn’t catch my breath.
I did continue to run, but after the race, I started feeling lightheaded and dizzy. It just happened instinctively that I had to lie down on the ground, and off my body went to the ground. I was on the ground for about a few seconds. I was on my own where I was.
I wasn’t one to cause a scene or anything, so probably what happened never really caught anyone’s attention. To be frank, I've never been interested in going to the clinic or to the hospital. The whole injection thing doesn’t bode well with me. It's just too much to think about.
I did end up catching my breath and went back to continue my duties as a first aider for the race.77Please respect copyright.PENANAtxQ90mjp8l
