The wind caressed her soaring body, as her calm body mingled with the clouds. Her brightening smile mixed in with the blinding sun rays. Various birds were attracted to her peaceful mood. Her joyous laughter shone down on the brooding male. His being sprawled out against the vivid blades of grass. His pale face resembled a still stone, his eyelashes rested as his eyelids remained folded. His beauty and the pooling crimson liquid pulled her focus from her spontaneous flight.
Her face scrunched as her pure heart clenched at the sight of the wounded man. Her mind persisted to see if the mysterious man wasn't deceased. She tilted downward to descend to his aid. Her wings aided her in a safe landing as she perched near his side.
Her knees bent as she landed on the warm ground. Her snowy-colored gown stretched against the grass. The grand gold weaved with the plush white fabric that bent beneath her as she inspected him.
The creases of his face created a symphony of beauty that drew her in. The raven, lengthy hair curled around him as his chest slowly rose and fell. Her eyes grew as her cheeks gained a rosy color. Her dainty hand subconsciously rose and yearned to brush against his sharp features.
A sudden gust of wind rolled through the open field as his hand fastly tangled itself around her tiny wrist. His eyelids peeled back to reveal a pair of menacing maroon irises, "What are you doing." His stern voice was as unrelenting as the grip on her pale wrist.
"I thought perhaps something had happened to you... you are bleeding." She meekly rushed out as her eyes flickered between the tight grip and the man below her.
His eyes swiftly glanced down at his healing wound that slipped his mind. The immense pain had boiled down, yet the burn remained on his senses. His sight turned to the spooked individual with oddly honest intentions. His being searched for any reason to shred her pretty throat apart and to watch as she fell to his feet. "I'm fine." He bluntly stated before he released his hold as his back began to rise from the ground.
"But your wound," her meek voice spoke, solely focused on the good deed she was focused on completing.
"I remember telling you that I'm fine." His eye twitched at her shining persistence.
"I promise to leave your sight, it's just I don't feel right leaving you in such a state." She begged the unreasonable mean man to let her work her magic.
His head bent as he processed her request.
His intuition was ordering him to commit an act of violence or flee from her pestering attitude. On the other hand, his heartbeats whispered to let the girl carry on as his fascination began to win.
"If this is a ploy, I shall not hesitate to kill you." His venomous tone conveyed his threat as he retreated to his comfortable position amongst the grassy floor.
The girl curtly nodded as a content smile grew at her granted request. Her posture bent as her hands hovered over his healing wound. The magic descended from her fingertips to his open wound. A fluttering feeling filled his being as the wound dissipated as if it was never there to begin with.
Flawless, tortured skin.
The skin of a being belonging to the demon race. No such ordinary demon, one of important lineage. Yet the girl was not privy to such blatant information. Seeing him as a random person in need of her healing touch.
"As I promised, I shall go," she bid the man farewell not wanting to be a bother any longer. His eyes followed her steps, as her unique hybrid wings trailed behind her steps. The long, snow-like hair was of nothing he'd seen before. He grew further intrigued.
He slowly stood on his feet returning to his true height. He could feel the girl's continuous stare as she remained in his presence. A swift glance in her direction was enough for her to pick up the pace.
Yet, was that what he truly desired?
He has always been feared yet she threw herself to his side for aid. It may be hypocritical, but the feeling of desire grew.
"Wait." His voice rumbled through the field.
"Ah- yes?" She fastly turned as if she was awaiting his word.
"What is your name?"
"Junichi, may I have yours?"
Her answer exceeded his mind's hypothetical guesses with something much more beautiful. The name remained sweet and pleasant to his ears. His mouth began to move before he could comprehend his actions.
"Kakeru." She swore that majestic name had been spoken around her before, but nothing came to mind.
Junichi's daydreams took over as the man silently drifted away. Her audible gasp peaked when she saw his fleeting figure. A disappointed look painted her face as her heart yearned for the beautiful man to come her way.
Perhaps they shall meet once more.
