Hello everyone! I'm LemurianJade. I've been writing Fanfiction for around 14 years now, though not always consistently. My most used platform for fanfiction up to this point has been FFN (fanfiction.net), but with how often the site goes down these years, I'm finding it might be more practical to post elsewhere. Don't get me wrong - I love FFN, and I love the community on there, but it's not really ideal if I can't use it when I need to. And besides, if I'm having issues connecting to FFN, other people are too.56Please respect copyright.PENANAy3CQTRC1nC
I came across Penana a while back, but I never really found a need to use it. However it does seem to be fairly active here, so I think this would be a good place to go. Ao3 is pretty popular too, but I never really felt comfortable posting there.56Please respect copyright.PENANA6x6lqXoCan
So anyway, there's an MHA/BNHA fanfiction that I've been posting over on FFN, and I'm going to post that over here as well. Although...the continuity and the grammar is kind of...bad. I didn't really spell/grammar check when I was posting it, which is not super great. I just need to slow down a little bit when I'm posting so that everything lines up properly and makes a more effective story. And it's not that I can't use spelling or grammar properly, as you can probably tell. I think it's more-so that I get a lot of anxiety with writing which makes me sort of rush through things and not check over them. I guess I've also been kind of pushed into the mindset from others that I need to create and put things out as quickly as possible, and that people won't want to read my story if I make them wait. That's one of the things I hate about Ao3 - it feels like a contest rather than a place for expression. Going from that back to FFN was a breath of fresh air, especially because when I had burnout and couldn't write for a while I didn't have any nasty comments under my story telling me to hurry up. It actually made me feel more comfortable with writing again and I started writing again after a hiatus - something I was always too anxious to do on Ao3.56Please respect copyright.PENANAW5UEySzvQp
FFN's more laid back fandom culture was something that was always rather nice and encouraging, so even though it's functionality is going down, I'll probably never really leave - but I do want other people to read my stories, so I'm just expanding here. I don't really know what the fandom culture is like here, but I hope it is kind in the way that I've experienced back on FFN.56Please respect copyright.PENANAL1WUKDpR6k
