“Good, morning, Yuna!” Jisung greeted me as I stepped down the stairs. “Have you eaten yet?”
I smiled at him. “Good morning! And no, I’m not hungry.”
“You should be. You’re gonna miss Minho’s ramen! It’s been a while since he made seafood ramen, and I know you love that…”
“Ok, ok!” I said laughing. “You don’t have to force me like that. You could just say that Minho wants me to eat his food.”
“Same difference,” remarked Jisung. “He’s in the Autumn section, in case you were wondering.”
“Again?!” I complained. “Someone needs to tell him to stay out of there, the smell of ramen is driving the animals NUTS.”
Minho loved to cook, and he especially loved being in the autumn section. However, due to them all living in a magical library, the woods in the autumn section appeared fake only to most people. The 17 of us who lived there saw it for what it truly was, and Minho loved being around the animals there. However, he cooked over a campfire there no matter how hard I tried to make him stop.
I headed towards the autumn section. Most people who stepped inside our intricate bookshop/object lending area complained how big it was, but I’ve lived here for years, and can find my way around perfectly, in between the seasons sections (like the Autumn section) and the reading rooms, the kindergarten section, the teenage section…. I never liked the teenage section, I preferred more lighthearted books. Plus, if you break the rules in there, Chan and Jongho will be after you in a moment. I walked into the main atrium, which is what separates the apartments from the library section. I was about to wave at the desk, but Jeongin wasn’t there. Or Felix, they were the ones who always sit there. “Yuna!” I heard Jeongin say behind me. “Have you seen Changbin?”
“Me? No,” I said. “Is he eating breakfast?”
“No, I would’ve seen him. He may still be in bed… Ten to One him and Yunho are just getting up. They’re not going to-“
