A Solstice Inferno dragon paced inside a cave. "We shouldn't be living like this!" She growled.
Her brother, a Stellarsong nodded. "That little...thing is nothing but a parasite!" He hissed. "We should be up there! We should be in that temple."
The Solstice Inferno dragon scratched at the wall. "But instead, we're feeding off of scraps and half–eaten corpses!"
"Despicable!" The Stellarsong snarled.
The Solstice Inferno dragon's lips curved into a dark grin. "Maybe..."
The Stellarsong glanced at the Solstice Inferno. "Maybe what?" He fully turned to look at the Solstice Inferno dragon. "Maybe what Solara?" He snapped.
"My dear, dear Lumis. There's no need for a temper now..." Solara chuckled darkly. "I think it’s time we take back what is rightfully ours."

Tiny Wings' eyes narrowed as Nimbus sped past her.
"Good evening your Highness!"
Followed by Splash who was trying and failing to keep up.
"Nimbus slow down!"
"Why, Splash? You getting old?" Coral called out in a teasing tone.
Splash paused and looked at Coral with a smug expression. "You're the one who's old. As for me? I still have many years ahead to become faster than those wind dragons!"
Coral chuckled. "Ah, the arrogance of youth! Let me tell you something, Splash—speed isn’t everything. Wisdom and experience win the race in the end."
Splash rolled his eyes. "Yeah, yeah, keep telling yourself that, old-timer."
Tiny Wings fluttered over, her small wings buzzing furiously as she landed beside them. Her golden scales gleamed in the setting sun, and her bright eyes glimmered with amusement. "Boys, boys. Let’s save the racing for the outside shall we?"
Nimbus, who had circled back, hovered in the air above them, chuckling. "Come on, Your Majesty. It's not like anything is going to break from incredible speed!"
"That's because you're a cloud," Shadow chirped as he landed next to Tiny Wings.
Nimbus puffed his chest out, a faint mist swirling around him. "And proud of it! But let’s be real, Shadow—if you tried to keep up with me, you'd end up in one of your little journal entries as 'the day I nearly melted into a puddle.'"
Shadow smirked, his green spikes glinting in the fading light. "At least I'd have a story to tell. All you'd have is hot air."
"Anyways," Tiny Wings turned her gaze to Splash. "Where's Reef?"
Splash shrugged. "What would I know? That guy is always behind when he has to walk on land."
Tiny Wings tapped her claw on the floor in thought. "Nimbus when you get a chance send a message to the earth dragons. I need them to create a passage way for the Marine Finbacks."
"Like a river?" Nimbus asked.
"Yeah! Like a river!" Tiny Wings purred.
Nimbus nodded, a mischievous glint in his cloudy eyes. "Consider it done, Your Majesty. I'll make sure the earth dragons dig the smoothest river for our aquatic friends. But just so you know, it'll be named after me."
Tiny Wings giggled. "Nimbus River? We'll see about that."
Splash snorted. "Why would we name a river after a puff of clouds? I vote for 'Splash Stream.' Sounds way cooler."
Coral sighed, shaking his head. "Enough with the name battles, you two. This is about making Draconia more united, not arguing over who gets the credit."
Shadow smirked as he scribbled something in his journal. "Note to self: Nimbus and Splash are just as competitive on land as they are in the sky or sea."
"Hey!" both Nimbus and Splash said in unison, glaring at Shadow.
Tiny Wings shook her head with an amused smile. "Alright, that's enough bickering. Nimbus, get moving. Splash, go find Reef. Please."
Splash gave a playful salute with his wing. "I'm on it!"
Tiny Wings took a moment to herself, walking out over to her balcony and looking over the Kingdom. The vibrant colors of Draconia glimmered in the distance—fields of green, sparkling rivers, and dragons soaring through the skies.
"You've always told me I would become nothing, mother," Tiny Wings murmured, looking out into the distance, "But you see me now. I have been on the throne for ten years."
Tiny Wings' golden scales shimmered in the fading sunlight as she stood tall, gazing over the bustling kingdom. The distant roars of laughter, the whooshing of wings in the sky, and the rhythmic crashing of waves from the sea below all blended into a harmonious symphony of life. Draconia was thriving, united as one.
Her small wings buzzed gently as a warm breeze swept past, carrying with it the scent of blooming flowers from the valley below. It was moments like these when Tiny Wings felt truly at peace. Yet, in the back of her mind, a faint unease lingered—a shadow of something she couldn't quite place.
As if sensing her thoughts, Shadow appeared at her side, his black scales blending into the darkening horizon. He carried his journal, as he always did, tucked securely under one of his claws.
"Something on your mind, Your Majesty?" Shadow asked softly, his green eyes studying her.
Tiny Wings smiled faintly, not bothering to correct him. Shadow always addressed her formally when they were alone, even though she told him countless times he didn’t need to. "Do you ever feel like... something's waiting in the dark, Shadow? Like a storm brewing far off in the distance?"
Shadow tilted his head, his green spikes catching the last rays of sunlight. "Sometimes. But Draconia has weathered storms before. And with you leading, we’ll be ready for whatever comes our way."
Tiny Wings chuckled lightly, but there was a seriousness in her eyes. "You always know what to say. Thank you, Shadow."
Shadow opened his journal and jotted something down, a smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth. "Don't mention it. Besides, if you're ever feeling doubtful, I can always remind you of that time you tripped over your own tail during the Fire Ceremony."
Tiny Wings gasped in mock offense, playfully swatting at him with her tail. "You wouldn't dare!"
"Oh, I would," Shadow replied, laughing as he dodged her.
The two friends stood together, watching as the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in shades of gold, orange, and deep purple.
Deep within the cavern, Solara paced back and forth, her golden scales dulled by the lack of light. "The time will come, brother," she muttered, her voice dripping with venom. "And when it does, Draconia will fall. Piece by piece, we’ll take back what is rightfully ours."
Lumis leaned against the wall. "Just make sure your 'perfect plan' doesn’t get us incinerated. Tiny Wings may be small, but her fire is not to be underestimated."
"Oh, I know that all too well," Solara growled, a dark smile creeping across her face. "But every dragon has a weakness, Lumis. Even queens."
Lumis raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "And what might that be?"
Solara's eyes gleamed with malice. "Patience, dear brother. All will be revealed in time."
