"SURPRISE!!!!" I walked into the club and my whole family was here. I was giving my long time girlfriend Smiley a hard time about going out. When I walked in the house I was planning on leaving her. I met somebody else and she was pregnant. Now here I was feeling guilty. For months she has been all whispers. Whispering in the phone texting at all hours of the night. I thought she was cheating on me. Shit shit shit. How the fuck did I let this happen.
I met Smiley at the club a few years ago. She was fine as fuck and I wanted her. So I chased her ass down till she became mine. Once I got her I didn't let her go. I ain't never stepped out of my relationship with Smiley that girl was the air I breathe. She was my person. She's been away at college and I thought she met somebody out there that's why she was acting funny. I was older then her by 5 years. She was 18 when I met her and I couldn't believe this young ass girl had my nose wide open. When we first got together I tried to cheat but I couldn't do it. Now that I not only cheated but made a baby on her. This shit was gonna break her heart.
"This why you been whispering on the phone." I said.
"Damn I was hoping you didn't notice. Where you not surprised bae?" She asked.
"Trust me. I'm surprised. I don't deserve this." I said shaking my head.
"Yes you do. You been holding shit down while I'm at school. So I'm moving back home and going to the local school." She said.
"I can't let you do that. You worked too hard to settle." I said. She just rolled her eyes.
We were chilling and drinking when Mom Duke came up in the section.
"Mama?" I smiled.
"Hey baby." She smiled.
"How did you get here?" I asked.
"Your lady she flew me out. First class. I like her." Mom said. She looked at me one time and read me like a book. She shook her head and treated Smiley. My mom moved to Florida when I was 18. I haven't seen her in years so her being here warmed my heart like fuck.
I was drunk as fuck and taking my guilt out on Smiley. She was trying to get me in the car but I was fighting her. I ain't like the way valet was looking at her. So my mom took over and she drove me home and Smiley got a hotel room. I knew I was gonna pay for this shit tomorrow but boy I was wrong because my mom loved laying into me soon we drove off.
"Why are you treating that girl like that? She and I put this party together. It took long nights and with your nose ass I had to tell her to delete the texts." Mom said.
"Mom I fucked up. I fucked up bad." I said putting my hands on my head.
"You did something she can't forgive you for?" She asked.
"I don't think so. She gonna leave my ass. I thought she was cheating so I met somebody and she's pregnant. I was gonna leave Smiley tonight." I said.
"You got to be the dumbest mother fucka I know. How you get another bitch pregnant." Mom asked.
"I don't know it just happened. That's not the worst part.. I made smiley have an abortion when she went to college. I begged her mama. I begged her to get an abortion and now I got this girl pregnant." I said.
"Get rid of her. How far along is she?"
"Six weeks."
"Get rid of her before you lose your woman because if she goes it's gonna hurt you in more ways then one." She said.
