The streets were filled with the sounds of cars running. the big city was alive in the morning and it always pleased August. He woke up with a smile;as usual. he made two cups of coffee , one for him and one for his roommate, charlie. after a few minutes,a very tired and skinny Charlie can from his deep slumber
"Morin' charlie" August said cheerfully. Charlie let out a small groan
"You were working late again right"August continued as her passed Charlie his cup of coffee
"yup"charlie said in a gruff voice"and I have to do it all over again"
Charlie quickly drank his cup of coffee and got ready for his job
"so have you found a new job yet"Charlie asked still in a tired voice.
"No"August replied while reading the news paper"I'm still looking"
Charlie and August both left the small arperment and head towards he road. The morning lght made Augst brown hair almost look silver . as he walked her dosed of a little
"August look out"Charlie screamed. August snapped out of his trance and saw that he was in the middle of the road. then a car came zooming towards him but then Charlie pushed August to the floor. the Charlie and the car collided .
"CHARLIE" Augsut screamed as her rushed towards him.

August would soon found him self nest to Charlie's broken body in the hospital.
"Augie"Charlie said looking at August with his almost lifeless eyes"I'm not going to make it. He then reached for his pocket and pulled out a name tag and pice of paper"go to the location to the paper and tell my boss the news."
"o-ok"August then got up and left the room"Hopefully you get better"
"hopefully"Charlie's faint voice said as her smiled.
A Emotional Agust left the hospital and started to walk. he walked for what felt for miles until he reaches the location. A ruined shopping mall. August looked back at then paper.With a big gulp August walked around the ruined mall. As he walked trought the ruins he saw a door. just there. menacingly.
August grabed the door and opened it. on the other side was an elegant hotel lodey with a red carpet. August walked in . As he walked to the checking desk an angel popped frome under her desk and August let out a gasp"
"hey there"She said in a quick voice"my name is Chauncey. do you have a reservation "
"No-" but before could August continue ,Chauncey interrupted him
"so do you want to book a room"she said
"no"August said in a annoyed tone "I'm here on behalf of Charlie McLang. I need to tell your supervisor some sad news."
"oh ok"Chauncey said as she flapped her wings"follow me. I'll take you to our manager " she lead him to a long hallway with a door at the end. As he opened the door he saw a bear, sitting next to a desk.
"your manager is a bear"August chuckled.
"yes yes he is"the bear spoke in a low raspy voice. August jumped back. the bear then turned to a middle aged man with a scared eye and a gray mustache ."the manes bertrem. so what are you doing her human.?"
"I'm -Im here to tell you that my friend Charlie McLang has been injured is unable to work."
"damn it " Bertrem scoffed"I'll need another worker"he then turned to August"you, work for me"
"I'm sorry but i- "August tried to decline but all Bertrem did was give him a uniform
"Now get to work"Bertrem said sternly"Chauncey will help you out*
"yes sir"Chauncey said As they two of them exited the office*let me show you around" she said with a big grin.
They walked around the hotel, but the were stoped at the main hall entrance by a giant stone statue.
"Who Goes there"Asked the emotionless statue
"hey xylo its me , Chauncey" she responded
"Who is with you"Xylo asked
"Its the knew worker, August" She answered
after passing Xylo they started looking at the many places like the pool, rooms, dinnig hall and shopping district. as they walked along the August bumped a devil with long horns
"S-sorry"August said terrifired. but the devil only laughed
"Boy you where so scared"The devil chuckled
"hey stanford"Chauncey said as she shook the devils hand"this is the new worker"
"really"Stanford said with a smirk"well I got to get going. I need to get some towels for the guests. Se you around chauncey"he said as he walked away
"you two are friends"August asked
"yeah"chauncey said while walking."me and him been working her for a long time. this hotel has been a hotspot for supernatural creatures to relax. at. and lot of them work her two like me and stanford"
they finally stoped at the laundry room
"Youll be working her form today"Chauncey instructed"as make sure you clean the bed sheets thoroughly. we wouldnt want any bedbugs in here"
Now alone , August finally started to work. It was an easy job for him,since he had done it many times before . he just washed it dryed it then folded it . then came the bed sheets. as he folded the sheets he noticed that a bug was crawling on it. he then flicked it and it landed on a pile of dirty laundry. he then continue to fold laundry. later August went to go clean the pile of dirty laundry but in its place was the bedbug, Now bigger then August him self. Hey let out a whimper then exited the room , looking for Chauncey but there was only Stanford.
"hey newbie"Stanford waved "how laundry duty"
"bad"August replied
"let me guess, a bedbug"
"yup"
Stanford grab a fire iron and the both of them marched down there. Stanford then saw the gigantic bug
"you let it eat cloth didn't you"August then nodded"Our bedbugs grow when they eat it . all you need to do is get a few good pokes to turn it back to normal size"
Stanford the slowly approached the bug with out it noticing him. then he jabed the bug and it let out an paining shreek. The insect then grabbed Stanford with its pinsirs and made him drop his fire iron
"now its your turn newbie"Stanford yelled"beat up the god damn bug. August the grabbed the fire iron and poked the bug. but it didn't shrink
"poke it harder"Stanford yelled. August firmly griped the fire iron and charged towards the bedbug. next he threw in at the bedgub and it entered its skin. but it started to expanded and then it shrieked before it burst, leaving mysterious goop all over the laundry room.
the two of them just stood there
"so lets just pretend this never happens"Stanford chuckled
"agreed"August laughed
