And he was worried, life had been good over the last ten years and he ran a good village he was one of the few Godfathers that treated the people and his fighters as humans.
Now, this Godfather the Duke was making a challenge having already taken over three villages in the zone.
His fighters were gaining fame throughout the area especially the black masked fighter Lucian he was known as the monster, showing no mercy to his opponents when he fought.
Danios fighters were good but time was catching up they were aging and it took longer for them to heal now and not as quick as they once were.
His fighters had not fought any top competition in a long time, only a few matches with traveling trainers who came to the village for daily sport.
This was coming as a shock to him, he'd not thought that one day he could lose his village to another Godfather.
This was how man lived now in small villages run by Godfather's, castle type affairs with a fighter's cage in the middle everything that went on was set up around the cage

Danio liked his lifestyle and was good to the village.

Although the villages weren't that far apart there was no motor transport so people traveled on foot.
There were normally 10 or 12 villages to a zone and rarely did people travel more than a few villages, meaning that most didn't know what lay beyond this.

Danio needed to see this fighter he needed to see if he was as good as the rumors said to see if he had a chance against this monster Lucian, who so far had killed all three fighters in the last three challenges.
