I have been through unimaginable horror,pain,and abuse that I would never wish upon even my own abusers. I was afraid they would be like everyone else who left after awhile taking away pieces of my fragile heart with them. Boy,was I wrong.
Looking back on the day I met them,I want to laugh at the absurdity of my fear. They took a scared and pained 16 year old and made her into a bright and confident 18 year old,and I couldn't be more grateful.
