Dylan’s lip lowered into a frown and he turned around on one leg to march back over to his hefty rusty red truck. In a quick, swift motion, he jumped into the truck. His hands gripped the faded plated steering wheel as a dust storm formed behind the vehicle as the speed meter flew past the max number. His eyes focused ahead on the horizon until the last ray of sunlight disappeared and he finally moved to kick the brakes. The truck had not even come to a full stop when Dylan’s feet made contact with the sandy ground and both of Dylan’s hands were up in the air lifted high towards the night sky.486Please respect copyright.PENANAoI1VqContN
“Are you done with me yet!?” The dark sky quickly darkened as thunder clapped and the wind picked up in force. “I had nothing to do with what happened to you years ago!” A cactus needles zipped by drawing blood to Dylan’s wrinkled skin and a few got caught in his thick unruly grey beard. Still, in pain, he continued his rampage against the darkened and stormy sky. “When will this be enough punishment‽” Dylan’s car honks as a dense tumbleweed hits it and the wind blows the heavy mass towards Dylan. Dylan crumbles to his knees from the force and turns to his truck to see the familiar word permanently engraved on it when he stole it: everything Dylan owns has the same mark on it, the mark of a Forsaken. Dylan turns his face back up to the sky this time with his hands down to the ground. His back still straight, but his shoulders sagged as he looked up to glossy eyed towards and sky and speaks one last time as the wind swirled around him in circles. With the rain mixed in with the tears flowing freely down his face, he can barely whisper, “Please, I can’t take any more of this torture.” 486Please respect copyright.PENANAryrtQ3yMKl

In a nearby town, the people would remember that particle night as they peered out their miniscule window with curiosity at the unique weather patterned never once repeated since or accurately recorded. To the future generations, it was a trick of the eyes, but to the young children who saw it regard it as a freak show of nature of what they saw over the horizon. A mysterious dome of what appeared to be water flowed fast and thrashed around with a charcoal grey tornado funnel coming out of the top pulling bits of the iron-grey clouds. Lightning like linings of clothes ran throughout the mysterious expression of mother nature appearing and disappearing as quickly as she came. The whole phenomenon took only a couple of minutes before the sky roared one more time and then dispersed to a star-filled sky. 486Please respect copyright.PENANAF8TgDCuB4R
Meanwhile, Dylan opens his eyes to find that he is still alive even after the lightning struck nearby. He lifted up his right hand to feel his eyes dried up from the rain and gaps to see his hand smooth and clear of all blemishes. He quickly lowers his head to find that his skin no longer sagged and his clothes seemed a couple of sizes too big across his youthful muscular physique.486Please respect copyright.PENANAtEH1M1GBQJ
“Your body is only partially restored for now, but after you end this curse everything will return back to the way it should be.” Dylan’s bulged at the sight of the woman in front of him. Her clothing just barely covered the necessary places of her walnut skin with the leaves of vines and mud. Her accessories consisted of continuous spouting of flowers and like brightly covered fruit. In her honey toffee hair there are strips of tumbleweed and rosafolia leaves. Dylan instantly knew who she was, yet his stupefied state prevented him from stopping her from introducing herself.486Please respect copyright.PENANAOyzcDjHYKM
