Whisper House: This poem gave me the chills. Honestly I read it and it creeped me out so much. It is vague and short yet it still paints a very vivid mental image. The rhyming is very well done, because sometimes poems that rhyme start to sound like Dr. Seuss. Even when I re-read it I still got a shiver down my spine every time. I don't know if that was what you were going for but I enjoyed reading it. There were a few minor grammatical errors that can easily be fixed.
Fire: I like this poem for reasons similar to the first one. You kept the descriptions to a minimum which made the poem more powerful in my opinion. It painted a clear image in my head without telling me exactly what to visualize. It ends with a question and that is a cliche that is overused and usually poorly done, but you executed it very well. It works so well here because the question isn't rhetorical and it doesn't have an obvious or definite answer. We as the readers are wondering why are they just watching you burn? What in the world did you do? Who's wrong here? I personally enjoy poems that give me mixed emotions. I was intrigued, curious and shocked. This poem is very nice.
Unhinged: I am going to rant a little because I am a very meticulous person and a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to certain things. This poem drives me crazy in the best way. There are obvious grammatical errors with the words your and you're. They're read the same so the poem sounded like it made sense but I know the difference between the two so it didn't make sense. You left words out of sentences which also bothered me, especially in the last line. All of these things were slight annoyances that built as I read the poem. Excuse me if this is cheesy but when I was finished reading it I felt Unhinged. I was irritated and felt like I was going slightly insane but after remembering the name of the poem I realized how genius and well executed it was.
