Her eyes watered as she stood amongst the acidic green fog.

Her fiery red hair flickered like fire in the dim light. Her voice quivered in fear as she heard the chittering of spiders in the distance. 

Hesitantly, she called out. "Where am I?! What is this place?!" The chittering grew louder as she ran towards a nearby cliff. Panting from exhaustion, she climbed up the semi steep cliff face. Suddenly she screamed as she felt the razor sharp fangs of a spider sink into her calf.

After faltering for half a second, she struggled to the top of the cliff and she stretched out her hand to the glowing green woman above her. The second their hands connected, a cacophony of screams overwhelmed her senses.

I'm the earthen side of the fade, a young woman was found by some scouts patrolling the explosion site. They saw her step out of the fade, guided by a woman no one recognized.
