As he lifted up her mask the woman backed away in fear. He had no terrifying or hideous features to frighten someone. Actually the man was quite beautiful, with raven hair, a creamy skin tone and emerald orbs for eyes. What was truly scared the woman was his expression. A happy light filled his green eyes as he stared at his fresh kill with a smile that stretched with pure joy.
How can he be so happy after murdering my whole family?
"You've gone too far this time Kaz." A bored voice comes from behind him followed by a long yawn. The woman swivels her head around to spot a tall teen boy with bronze skin, tired golden eyes and a bright shade red hair. The man lets out a sound of distaste upon seeing the redhead, before letting out a maniacal laughter.
"What? Our job is to kill things! So, I'm doing just that!" Was the man's response to the comment. The adolescent's facial features stayed blank as he says his next words in the same bored tone as before.
"Yes, we kill Demons. D-E-M-O-N-S. You're are one yourself Kaz, so it would be wrong if I killed you?" The raven haired man held up the long sword he had been using, and lunged at the redhead with nearly invisible speed. The teen didn't even blink as he easily dodged the attack, hand engulfed in flames as the boy punched Kaz square in the jaw. As the man flies back, his jaw dissolves showing the black bone under the surface of his skin.
How?!
"Heaven's fire can dissolve a demon's skin, especially a weak one like Kaz. You seemed curious so I thought I should explain," The boy said as he dodges yet another attack from the man's blood coated sword. The redhead seemed to get tired of the blacked haired man's attempts to stab him, and simply lit Kaz on fire. The man's whole body crumbles to dust as the smell of burning flesh lingers in the air.
"I gotta stop Lilith from recruiting people, she only picks maniacs." The redhead mutters to himself as the woman clings onto his arm desperately.
"Angel! You can fix my family can't you?" She pleas and the boy looks at her with disgust.
"Sorry woman. I'm a Fallen, not one of those bastards that kicked me out of heaven. Besides, resurrection never ends well." The Fallen spoke with irritation, as he shrugged off the woman who brought back unwanted memories. As he walks through the damaged walls of the woman's home, the redhead in surrounded by fog that encases his slim figure. When the fog disappears, so does the Fallen.796Please respect copyright.PENANA32rgDTBhHh
