Listen.

You can hear the song birds sing,

Perched high in the rustling trees.

Singing songs of hope and believing

Between the busy buzzing of bees.

Feel.

The warmth of the sun that caresses your skin,

Or that soft and subtle wind blowing.

And just as the sun fades and night begins

The breeze of darkness starts settling.

Breath.

Aromas of sweet-scented flowers and dew

Among the freshness of newly cut grass.

Of the many strong-smelling to name a few

That changes in every step to pass.

Taste.

Of sweet and sour that mingles in your mouth,

To the refreshing sensation of quenched thirst.

That even though the flavours change in drouth

There's still a means to experience the flavour-burst.

But look...

The only form is a deep darkness

Sitting in solemn silence all alone.

Not seeing how the world lies in harshness,

Living sightless and keeping the evils unknown.
