Naomi's PoV
I was sitting in class doing the same thinking of where I came from when the bell rang
From what I know, I have no family except my mum who isn't actually blood related. I don't like her much but she keeps a roof over my head and food in my tummy so I put up with her.
Another thing
I have freaky powers. I can control things with my mind. I can also control the different elements with my hands. And my hair colour. Another thing, this really annoys me, my eye colour changes based on my emotions. I also have wings that I can bring out when I want. No big deal. Controlling animals I think is very strange
I don't know where I was born or why I have these powers. Sometimes I wonder if there's anyone else like me out there
"Class, a new student will be joining us today so please make him feel welcome!"
A boy walked in and I felt my eyes flash. I didn't know what colour though. I didn't really care in that moment because the guy was a beauty
"My name is Jeon Jungkook and I'm from Magi- I mean Busan. Please take care of me"
"Nice to meet you. You can sit next to Naomi at the back"
Next to who? Me?
Jungkook's eyes travelled across the room and I thought I saw his eyes flash pink but I must've been mistaken
He sat next to me and took his books out. I decided to stop daydreaming and take my books out too.
About halfway through the lesson, I heard Jungkook curse. I turned my head and saw that his pen ran out of ink
"Sorry but do you have a spare pen?"
I took a pen out of my pencil case not realising what pen it was then gave it to him.
"Ummmmmmm........”
I looked at him then almost screamed. It was my pen that glows based on my emotions and has some other ability that I hadn't looked into. It was the only thing I had from birth. But right now, it's glowing pink.
I took it out of his hands then gave him a different pen
"Sorry about that. It has a light inside of it so yeah"
"Oh really? That's cool! Thanks for the other pen by the way. You're the best"
He continued on with his work while I sat there, a blushing mess

The bell rang and I was about to leave when a hand grabbed my arm. I turned around only to be face to face with Jungkook.
"At lunch, can you meet me at the back of the school please? It's important"
I was trying not to focus on the sparks I got when he touched me then nodded
"Sure, can I bring my friends?"
"Are they really close to you?"
"Yep, been with me most of my life"
"Okay then bring them"
"Okay"
I rushed out of the class then went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror
What the hell?
My eyes are pink!
They've never been pink before! I'll work it out later. I focused on changing my eye colour back to brown then went to my next lesson when I was stopped by Irene
"You better not be trying to date Jungkook. I've already claimed him. He's not looking for brains, he's looking for beauty"
Before I could say anything she left. I sighed then went to my lesson which was wood work. My best friends, Jisoo and Jennie came up to me as soon as I got in the class.
"We have new seats for the rest of the year"
I groaned
"Who am I next to?"
Jennie pat my back
"Jungkook. I'm sitting next to another newbie called Taehyung. He's so hot. And Jisoo is sitting next to newbie Jin"
I looked at the people Jennie pointed out then shrugged
"You think what you want I guess. Jungkook is way hotter"
Damn I just out myself
"Excuse me? Does Ms Naomi have a crush? Or should we call you Mrs Jeon"
"Shut up"
"Good to know that you think I'm hot"
I cursed. Why did Jungkook have to come in at that moment?
"W-Whatever. Jisoo, how many newbies are there?"
"Seven in total"
"How nice. Well I'm gonna sit down now"
"Okay Mrs Jeon"
I glared at them
"Shut. Up."
I stormed to my seat, folded my arms and pouted
"Why the pout? It's okay if you think I'm hot. I think you're quite cute"
Did I hear correctly?
"Did you just call me cute?"
"Yep"
"O-okay t-thanks"
I literally wanted to dig myself a hole and never come out of it. I was as red as a tomato
"Let's start then"
We started working on our own projects. I made a set of wings next to each other then added a chain to it to make it look like a necklace.
"Looking good cutie"
I blushed again at the nickname then turned to him
"My name is not cutie. It's Naomi."
"You're fake mad face is kinda hot"
That was when I became a full on strawberry
"Don't get so flustered. You can call me hot whenever you want. Your nickname is cutie and mine can be hottie"
Okay I need to calm down. I'm getting way to flustered.
"Shush. Now tell me what you're doing"
I peeked at what he was doing. It was a pair of glasses with the word cute above it
"I just need to add the chain then it's yours"
"Huh? What? No way, you made it"
"For you so you are gonna have it"
"Fine you are having mine though"
"Sure!"
After he put the chain on, he put it on me and I put mine on him.
"Perfect"
The bell rang and it was now lunchtime
"I'll get lunch then meet you after"
"No need. Just get your friends and come"
Jungkook left with all his friends and then my friends came up to me smirking
"Don't say anything. Also don't think I didn't see you flirting with Taehyung and Jin"
They blushed and I smirked victoriously
"The guys wanna meet behind the school so let's go!"
"Before you do that, you might wanna fix your eyes. They're yellow"
The girls know about my powers and they love them
"Oh crap, guess I'm just a bit too excited"
"To see your husband"
"Shut up! Are my eyes fine now?"
"Yeah let's go"
