“He’s got the whole world in his hands…”
“Stop!”
Sammi Nova was about to go crazy as the voice of the little girl echoed all around her. She felt like she had run through this empty building for ages without making any progress towards an exit.
“He’s got the whole world…in his hands.” The voice continued to sing eerily.
Sammi fell to the ground, having enough of the mind games. She pounded hard on the floor and sat in the middle of it, screaming in agony. Her fear was practically driving her up the wall.
“What do you want from me!?”
Her mascara leaked from the crevices of her eyes as tears poured relentlessly down her delicate cheeks. The floor was so cold where she was that she felt like she was getting frostbite.
“He’s got the whole wide world…in his hands.”
“STOP!” Sammi shrieked at the top of her lungs. Her hair stood up as if her whole body had been overcome with electricity. The window above her broke, sending glass all over the floor.
“You like this, Sammi.”
“Sammi!”
It was her brother, Lee. She could finally hear him!
“Lee, help me!!” Sammi pleaded, crying her eyes out. “Help!”
“He can’t hear you,” said the little girl’s voice as she materialized in front of Sammi.
Water drops began to fall from the ceiling and then froze in mid-air before they landed, creating a hail storm.
“But, I can.”
The little girl waved her hand and knocked Sammi unconscious.
