And there’s goes the rain. I was playing with the raindrops while waiting at my mother pick me up at school. It’s five in the evening, and strangely the sky’s going to dark. I was not minding if my uniform was wet, because today’s Friday and tomorrow I have no classes at school. I left my bag save on the school’s terrace. None in the school now, I was left alone here.
My long skirt had been all wet, not mentioning my shirt. I was dancing in the middle of the rain, trying to remember all the Korean’s boy band and girl band’s dance. While I was turning to the left, for the next step of the dance, I faced the school’s front door and noticing there’s someone beside my blue-coloured bag. It’s a she, and she’s looking at me intensely.
“Hey, I thought there’s nobody in school. Who are you? Are you my junior?” I stopped dancing and yelled to the girl. I never saw this girl before, maybe one of my school’s silent newbie.
“Could you please answer me?” I yelled again. I didn’t want to busy come into her, and making my bag end up with all wet. She rose up from her nice sit and joins me in the rain.
“My name is Alice,” she rose up her hand, shaking my hand. “And actually I’m as senior as you.”
My eyes widen as she started to shake my hand. I can’t saw her clearly at first, but when she stood up in front of me, I saw a perfect copy of myself. She has long black hair, as I did. She used a wet soaked uniform like I did, even she just a couple of second joining me in the rain. She was as tall as me, and even she has the wound on my right arm.
“What? Am I looking like a stranger to you?” She grinned widely. I can’t say anything. I just prayed for my mother will catch me quick.
“N…no. I’m happy you’re here. At least I have somebody to talk to.”
“Really? I’m glad then.”
Trying my best to ignore her, I started to dance again. She took a step backward, making a space for me. She’s not real, she’s not real, and she’s not real. I whispered the sentence repeatedly. But dancing in front of yourself watching at you wasn’t felt right. I stopped for the second time, and look at ‘myself’. She’s smiling.
“What?” she said.
“Are…are you real?” I can’t hold myself for not saying that. I regretted my words before, because her smile is widening. She looked scarier like this. I took a step backward.
“That’s depending. Are you believed in me?”
“No.”
“So that’s mean I have no right for being here?”
“Uhm, yes.”
She’s frowning. “That’s explaining everything.”
For the god’s sake, there’s something went wrong. How can your copy, your reflection, saying that the real you weren’t doing right?
“Excuse me, explaining what?”
She laughed. It sounds like a ringing bell, the most beautiful sound you’ve ever heard. Obviously that’s not me. My friends told me that I have a flat voice.
She walked into me, her arms opened. “Everything! The scratches on the girl’s bathroom wall, the broken footballs net, the ripped flag…”
It’s my turn to laugh. I cut off her sentence. “What are you talking about?”
“Oh, so you don’t know?”
“I have no connection with those all.”
‘Alice’ smiled. “May I continue my sentence? Alright, your class’s broken lamp, a virus on Principal’s computer, David’s on the physic lab, Niel’s on the stair, Jessica and Clarisse in the bathroom, and Miss Claire this morning…”
“Stop!”
She turned her face on me. “Why?”
“Are you crazy? Are you doing those things? I’ll tell the teachers!”
“Yes. I’m crazy and yes I’m doing those things. It’s a lie if I said I’m a good girl, it’s a lie if I said I’m sad with Jessica’s broken arm, it’s a lie if you don’t enjoying those pleasure feelings. I am you, don’t you see?”
My mouth was locked. Where is exactly my mother?
“Oh, don’t bother with our mother,” she grinned. “She will come, trust me. I just don’t know when. Let’s finish our nice conversation first.”
The rain was getting worse. I was sure that I’ll get flu tonight. Strangely, we still can open our eyes and heard our voice clearly.
“So, where were we? Ah, the fact that I am crazy. But you have to answer me first. Are you crazy too?”
“Of course I’m not!” I yelled in frustration. “You are cra…-“
“Yes, I am crazy! Do I have to tell you once again?” She laughed. “And why am I crazy? Because I think none in this school is interesting. They’re boring. They never understand me, they always ignoring me, and they are as stupid as hell. Why our mothers have to send us to the school? I don’t know, and I don’t want to know. Just then, I found something to amuse myself. Start with the doodled on the girl’s bathroom wall. I blamed Jessica on it. She got a big punishment for those filthy words. And I am happy!”
“Stop it! I never did that!” I shut my ears down, covered it with my hands. “You are totally wrong! I…-“
“Then,” she continued. “That great feeling just stands for awhile. I need another. So I tried to electrocute David, who being my partner on physic laboratory. His hair! Don’t you remember that? It’s funny!”
“Shut up!”
“…those panic faces, and I acted panic too! It’s fun! You have to try it someday! And the lesson was stopped, so…-“
“Shut. Up.”
I pressed the tip of my cute little razor blade onto her neck. It stretched a little, but she just smiled, not showing any expression of afraid to me.
“Oh, you want to kill me now? After you tricked Miss Claire?” she said.
“It’s my pleasure to be the last person who ever talk to you.” I smiled.
“You spread the oil on the stair?”
I rose up the razor blade. “Yes.”
“I see.” ‘Alice’ said. “You ripped the flag when nobody in the school?”
I rose the razor blade up again. It was making a little cut on her neck. A drop of blood fell, mixing with the water from the rain. “Yes.”
“You cut the footballs net…-“
“Yes! Any last words before you die?”
“You are funny, Alice!” My reflection said and laughed. “If I die, you die too. We are connected, because we are in the same body. Are you still wanted to rip off my head?”
“Hell yes. You are annoying. I’d better die than meet those stupid faces tomorrow. At least heaven is better.”
“You won’t go there.”
“Who cares? You? Oh, thank you. It’s a kind of you caring about me.”
“You’re welcome. So, my head is yours.”
“It’s mine now! Is that costs?”
“Nope.”
“Great. On the three? One, two, …”
“Three!”

“Did you see the corpse?”
“No, the police covered it.”
“Who is she?”
“Alice Elysion from 9-3”
“Oh, that beautiful girl? Is she dead?”
“Of course! Don’t you hear the rumour?”
“Rumour? Tell me!”
“The fact that she’s torn up her own neck?”
“Whoa! Is that true?”
“I don’t know. But the founder told the principal that she hold a little razor blade which placed in her bloody neck. Crazy isn’t it?”
“Nope! It’s cool!”
“Ssh! How can it be cool in your eyes? It’s scary! Let’s finish this work quickly and go to the canteen. I’m hungry…”
