Chapter 1 - The Announcement
It's a rainy evening in London. Henry, the youngest kid in his family of 4 is spending his last hours before bed time watching some TV and waiting for his sister and father to come back home.
"Are you enjoying yourself?", his mom comes in with a bowl of popcorn and makes her self comfortable next to Henry on their couch.
"Yeah I am, but look ma!", Henry says excitingly and points to the TV screen that's displaying an announcement for all UK residents. It's about a free tour through the Queen Elizabeth's castle, Windsor.
"Ooh that's interesting!", the mother replies.
"Can we please go?", Henry begins to beg and pull on his mother's clean sweater. It takes him a couple tries but he finally gets a response.
"Okay fine, I will call the number.", Henry feels like the happiest kid in the universe right now as he begins to uncover himself with his blanket and rushes to grab his mother's phone only to give it back to her in anticipation. It doesn't take her long enough before she copies the number from the TV into her smartphone and begin to ring.
Seconds pass by and a lovely woman answers the call.
"Hello! Thank you for calling Windsor Castle's call center, how my I help you?", as soon as the woman finishes her sentence, Henry's mom pushes her eyebrows together and frowns. A castle has it's own call center? The mother shakes it off, maybe it was built just for this occasion and continues to have a chat with the lovely woman behind the phone. After a few moments, the mother hangs up and informs Henry than an appointment has been scheduled for tomorrow and that there will be a bunch of his peers as well.
"So other kids are going as well?", Henry asks as he doesn't know what the word 'peers' mean.
"Yes sweetie, they are.", his mother explains, "Also, your sister will be going too.", that part of her sentence did not impact Henry positively, he finds his sister quite annoying. At the same time, the rest of the family members arrive.
"Speaking of the devil.", Henry's mom says and goes to hug her husband as Emily, Henry's sister, runs to mess with Henry himself. It only strikes a fight between them until their father decides to break it up.502Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡ6zx73VRcsc
"Hey hey!", he goes, "You're both 13, how are you still acting like this?", they don't know how to respond so Henry's mom takes the initiative to inform the two that Henry and Emily will be going on a tour through Windsor Castle. "This is the perfect time to fix your relationship before it gets out of hand.", the mother states and sends them both to bed after a quick chat. Henry, being the most excited one about the event, falls asleep quickly.502Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡBLpe04vpWm
