Great nations fell and with them, the economy, the government, and ultimately, the military but not before the nukes were fired. Nearly 95% of landmass became inhabitable due to its 'effects'. Whatever was left of humanity gathered itself into small pockets of non-radiated land zones called green pastures. 'Cold field' was one of those, a heavily fortified landmass, it was home to nearly 100,000 humans, covering 100 sq miles of area. It was administered by Lord Greed and his group called 'The Watchers of God'.
