Cartoons are a significant portion of our culture. A large part of most children's lives involve cartoons in one way or another. Cartoons have significantly changed over the years in that they have taken on more abnormal or insane extremes. While there are still shows focused on teaching lessons, but the will never be like those of the past. 397Please respect copyright.PENANAoTVBoGLBAk
As time goes by the cartoons, seem more like cartoons than the reality they were supposed to replicate. They have started to take an incomprehensible turn presented in the way of the aspects of the characters. While it wasn't contractual, cartoonists created the cartoon characters with specific abnormal personalities for entertainment. If placing particular observation on characters can reveal that a lot of the peculiar actions and habits they have can be related to many psychological disorders or explanations.397Please respect copyright.PENANARLg6xwDZUt

Scooby-Doo has been famous for countless years, and some claim it to be a masterpiece that has produced many films and spin-off series. Several members of the main cast who make-up the "Mystery Incorporated" group can be analyzed and links to psychological disorders the protagonists might have has been done quite frequently by either professionals or engrossed fans that many tend to call, "fan-boys." 397Please respect copyright.PENANA1FDCWWAtR8

I tend to enjoy the most iconic character, Scooby-Doo. Scooby-Doo manages to show symptoms that could have him diagnosed as having Disassociative Identity Disorder. Disassociative Identity Disorder is the presence of two or more distinctly different personality states. Scooby tends to think as if he is a people. He not only occasionally walks upright and eats the exotic cuisine Shaggy makes, but he also talks though with a bit of a speech impediment. While sometimes he impersonates a rational human being he still follows some of the natural tendencies of dogs such as walking on four legs, eating food for animals, and not wearing clothes, but when acting like a human, he will occasionally wear costumes.397Please respect copyright.PENANA3UdqKLXNNU

What indeed sells the idea of Scooby's disorder is the fact the characteristics seem to be also displayed by several members of his family. Which might be evidence to contribute to a lack of proper parenting or the fact the condition may be a result of genetics. They are highly intelligent dogs, who tend to range from various backgrounds and some cases, not even the same species such as a lion who tends to think of himself as a dog. Not all of the family members do not show the same cowardly habits as Scooby-Doo does but they do share the same habit of being incapable of accepting with their chosen life and reality. None of them will lead a "normal" dog life. 397Please respect copyright.PENANA86YAoMI55S

While the group may be a ragtag crew of socially, mentally, and reality disabled kids they did teach the necessity of teamwork but also the combination of different personalities within a similar situation. These strange kids did end up turning these disadvantages into advantages to help others and solve involved mystery cases others couldn't answer. When it came to cartoons this can say to be an excellent lesson for all, never to let challenges overcome you.397Please respect copyright.PENANA9cpTsCDwB8
