Mr. Bello who stood 6'3 inches tall was really an intimidating character to behold. His aura and a blend of intelligence depicted how well off of a man he was. On his acquiline nose always sat a pair of glasses with a string like frame. His voice was like that of an air commodore in the army dishing out commands to cadets. Whenever he managed to smile, which he did sparingly, those set of popping teeth never ceased to adorn his magnificent face which people always pointed out as Adonis.
His son whom he had wanted to take over from him as he made to step down from the office as managing director was still in the army and he wasn't in any way interested in his father's joint company. On hearing that his son had a change of mind, this propelled him into acting fast before Xavier his Partner whom he had the joint company with succeeds in making his daughter in far away Angola the new MD.
Hell was bound to break loose if his plan which he believed to be well schemed didn't go as planned. From time immemorial, the competition for the new head of deans has always being a competitive stuff. So, even if it means eliminating Xavier, he was damn cut out for it. Coming back yet again after spending the whole day at the theater with nothing to show for it, was actually one of the most frustrating things Ira could think of, as she made to unlock the door to her apartment,she tried out some keys not minding if it was the right one or not.Finally getting hold of the knob she immediately dashed to the restroom to do her business there after which she went to the kitchen to get her self something to eat, done with playing choosy choosy, she finally settled for lasagna which has always been her go-to at times like this.
As she sat her self to a movie which she has seen for like a hundredth time, she cast her mind back to the not so good events of the week and how awful it has been so far. She couldn't in a littlest bit believe or imagine that Davi would be a pain in her ass. All he actually wanted from her was to just get intimate with her before he could let her rise in the film directing company. Who does that? She would always ask oblivious of how rhetorical her question was.

A sculptor could not have fashioned her seraph’s ears and pixie’s nose any better. When she broke into a smile, her beguiling, oyster-white teeth lit up the room. It could jolt you like an electric current when that megawatt smile gave you her full attention. Filed to perfection, her Venus-red fingernails ran through her nougat-brown hair. Spools of it plunged around her photogenic face and hid a swan’s neck, elegant and smooth. Almost everyone who came in contact with her liked her nebulous Eden-green eyes which were a-sparkle with the ‘joie de vivre’. They were like two beryl-green jewels melted onto snow.
Only If her mom could see how grown already her daughter was, only if she could feel that warmth she once felt five years ago.Thinking of this yet again made her teary,but what could she do? Apparently nothing. With the way things have been going, what she has finally arrived at, is that for once in her life she is going to agree with her dad. Tomorrow would be a long day for her as she is made up her mind to go meet her dad after a fugging five whole years. "I can't just put my degree to waste" she thought. I've gotta give my dad's offer a chance.
