This story literally happened this week. I have a friend who does not have a correct understanding of the bible.
(I’m keeping their identity vague because I did not have their permission to tell the story. This person is not a them or a they, I’m just respecting their privacy.)
I would spend lunches with them trying to understand their point of view, and trying to explain what they had got wrong.
They didn’t go to church, and called it “Boring,” and “A waste of time.” I told them that if their parents couldn’t or did not have the time to take them to church, I would talk to mine and we might be able to take them to my church. They said they would think about it and if they saw something like a sign of some kind, they might go.
During Chapel the day after, the teacher speaking talked out sin and how it separated us from God. The examples the teacher used were all things that this person had done.
At the end, the teacher said that if we didn’t have a relationship with God, to talk to someone about how they could have one.
During the whole thing I was on the verge of tears because I know that God is trying to reach my friend, and I got t be used at His instrument in this.367Please respect copyright.PENANAGTJ8MkqICQ
