"It felt like my heart had been ripped out of my chest and stomped all over by elephants then stabbed a million times, put through a grinder and dropped from a thousand foot building all while still beating allowing me to feel all the death defying pain" Said a girl sitting on an old black cushioned chair with big rips and tares all over it.
She had short brown hair that looked like it hadn't been brushed in months and was wearing navy blue boy shorts with a matching sweater. Her baseball hat was turned backward like it always was and its brown mud stains covered the words 'girl power' that had originally been there.
"Uh..." Was all doctor dude could say trying to ignore all the gruesome images a 13 year old had put in his head "That's... terrible." He told her
"I know!" She said used to doctor dude being a little speechless after something she's said so to fill the silence like always she continued "It just sucks you know? To have the one thing that makes you happy, the one thing you loved and that loved you back the same taken away. I just feel like I was never enough like... maybe it was all in my head... I don't know." She sighed "I mean... we used to be like best friends! They were my whole world and i was theirs... or at least that's what I thought but if I really was then it wouldn't have been so easy to give me up! I felt like i was loosing them for months before this... like we weren't as close as we used to be... the first time it was said out loud it all became real. I don't matter anymore. Not to them anyway. Even though there still my whole world. And the most annoying part is everytime I think there really gone, and i start to let go - even though it kills me they come back one more time and trick me into thinking they really do still love me and its gonna go back to the way it used to be. But it never does... they always leave me again." She finally finished and was holding back tears that had been building up inside her for months.
This was the first time shes ever really talked to somebody so deeply about this and was really hoping for something - anything to heal her hurting heart.
"Wow... you were really attached to that candy... sour blades was it?" Doctor dude said not understanding her the way she had hoped
"Sour blasters" She corrected "and yes! They were my life! I can't believe the company stopped making them!" She told him way to passianatly
"That really sucks. I understand how you feel - I once broke up with this women. I thought she was the love of my life" He said with a far of look on his face. The girl scrunched her face.
"Ew." She said "gross."
"Sorry" Doctor dude said shaking of the look focusing on her problem again "Where I was going with that was that I thought she was the love of my life but after a lot - and i mean a lot of heartbreak i got over her and i have a new girlfriend now! Switching the numbers in her new boyfriends phone may have helped a little to." He said the last part under his breath but the girl still heard it and was silently cheering for the small prank.
"But that's just a stupid romance thing!" She told him "This is my whole world torn apart!" She screamed standing up now
"Sorry! Im just trying to help!" He told her shaking his hands as if begging her not to leave
"Whatever, i'm leaving" She said as she started walking away"
"Wait!" He said grabbing something out of his pocket
"Sour blasters!" She shouted running towards him and attempting to grab it out of his hand. He held it up high and out of her reach. She only wished to be taller at times like these.
"Say please." He told her
She rolled her eyes but obayed.
"Please." She said
"Good." He handed her the package of candy and she immediately tore it apart.
It was like giving a wild animal who hadn't eaten in a week a piece of meat. She took a minute to just stare at them in awe. Sour blasters. She thought. Probably the last pack she would ever eat. The girl took the first candy out and popped it in her mouth. After that it was like the speed of light as she whipped every last candy into her mouth savouring every bite until she dug her hand into the package only to find one more sour blaster.
She lifted it up to her mouth and stuck her tongue out just to lick some of the sour powder of the gummy.
She closed her eyes and silently thanked god for this last pack of candy as she dropped the last one in her mouth and chewed thinking about how the sour powder sizzled on her tongue and made it water. Her favorite candy. She swallowed it with her eyes closed then slowly reopened them as the candy went down her throat.
"Your welcome" He said with a warm smile. He always loved helping his patients.
"Well my session is over now" She said and turned to leave
"Bye Maddy" He said. She turned around.
"Bye" She said and walked out the door.380Please respect copyright.PENANAVR6Pdl0M0y
