Transcending from a normal human life is something often chased. As humans we look for the thrill of life and the way to live forever in the strangest of ways. When we reach such heights we realize we never really wanted this. Well maybe that's how it is for me at least because I have seen what is at the top of transcending. Living eternally is the hardest way to live because everything will either die or disappear with time. While you and those like you are forever preserved untouched by time's touch.

I am a half breed but I lead one of the sixth Branch's of the main family. They are the lesser class who showed no promise or productivity. Which is why I was chosen to oversee this house till it could produce results. Brinstar was the name given to this Manor after the original Master was removed. It is home to three males and two female vampires which makes things chaotic sometimes. Unlike the main branches and main family this Manor is not the most well kept without someone's effort. Usually mine because the rest tend to be unmotivated for such chores which is fine I suppose. We start our day during night time which starts with nightly routine. Then during the day at first break we are finished with dinner and head off to rest till the following night.

Violia was the room closest to mine so this was the normal order of who got woken up first. She is the musical prodigy of unremarkable talent, daughter to viscount Malix and viscountess Eve. A third branch main family who hold more power then even the second branch family. A ruthless family who value duty and growth above all else however out of the four children they have taken in Violia was the most untalented apparently. I disagree fully as I have seen where her power and potential truly shine and blossoms most. Maybe I am a little biased because I have recently started sleeping with her but I believe she has untapped power dormant deep down.

After some time of light taps on the door I finally stepped inside I was sure she heard me but she had a game she enjoyed to play. I guess that means we are still doing this little play. I made sure to move softly towards her bed where a porcelain face had laid. Moving down towards her lips with my own with a smile I then began whispering softly. She stirred dramatically like a princess being woken up by a princess kiss, it was truly adorable. Her first words had often been my Shine which was my pet name she decided upon. My response was Sun it was a little cheesy but it made her happy which is what mattered. After some brief words between us she finally got up to get ready which meant I needed to move on.

Chase and Maice a sibling pair in love and lazy. They came from the fifth house where most had a laid back style. But Chase and Maice had taken this to a new level for sure. After tapping on the door a little harder I made sure to never enter this door, so I spoke from outside for them to hear. I warned them of tonight's night routine to get ready for it. They often didn't respond but I know they heard me which was enough. Those two are surely the least trouble out of the one's living here. Next up was unfortunately Corvis my skin would always crawl during this time. Having to approach his door and alert him was one of my least favorite things to do. For everyone's sanity I am glad I sound proofed every room fully before anyone moved in. I knocked and spoke clearly which I am sure he heard once he was informed I had finished the rounds.

Corvis didn't exactly have a house he came from he had the correct paper work though which was all he needed. If they had been a forgery they had been the best imaginable. He seriously made my skin crawl beyond what I thought was possible and the amount of companions he had was insane at best. But this was my assignment and he was part of this program so I had to grit my teeth and bare it. The nightly routine is an academic lesson mostly which no one really enjoys at all. But this was the easiest way to help them grow into the potential they all have. Shuffling around in the main hall gathering the main material as each one of them began to gather in to the seats. She was late as normal but this was normal for a woman from the first branch. She had a bitter personality and even more so a hate for half bloods, I could never tell if it was just growing up in a main house or not. She often dismissed what I was doing as a waste of time which irritated me I felt she wanted to get under my skin. But that wasn't the case because she uttered the same word she knew I hated 'Half Blood ' this caused me to raise my voice and use her full name and title. Lady Ramira Vanghast it rolled off my tongue but even withy temper raised I was still in control and she soon found her seat while I began to get ready for the lessons. Of course this sparked many conversations of what just transpired. I had called forth everyone's attention breaking up the conversation. Because Corvis made a sexual comment about my temper and Violia responded with a heated anger that needed to be calmed.

I wasn't one to lose my temper easily but the self righteous higher then you always annoyed me. Her father and mother respected me even though they had a dislike for half bloods. If it wasn't for my power I do not think I would be anywhere near the branches. Most half breeds are outcasted to the outland and the ones that remain are either slaves to the main family or useful. We ran through standard basic lectures and academics. This kept them aware of the most basic of things when it comes to learning the potential they have. It was the easiest way to teach them without them causing any harm from half measures. After an hour of studies it was time to move on to the next part of the nightly routine. Blossom was the ability to draw forth power which all full bloods had. The problem came from a lack of connection to that power. So i get them to channel an emotion that relates to them most from a memory in most cases. Violia struggles the most here due to family problems I'm sure but she told me when she thinks of her Sun it helps her maintain her focus. Maice and Chase never have an issue with the bond they have between them. And Corvis only struggles by appearance but he has no problems with this. Ramira is the one who struggles the most since she can not keep her blossom to remain longer then thirteen seconds.

I know why she has trouble and becomes angry at her lack of ability so I had to try and help her get past it. This is the final lesson for our nightly routine and I often have to pull Ramira aside to give her private lessons since she comes from a family where all eyes are on the royal family. I had to make sure she listened this time because she had the potential I seen it. However once she stepped inside my office tension was rising. Putting it aside we argued as I tried to get her to call forth her blossom. She finally did and soon I could see it flicker like it was gonna go out. Her eyes where so intently focused on her blossom which was not helping her focus. My hand took her chin between fingers as I held her to eye level making sure she couldn't look away from my eyes. I held her gently in place even though she protested and argued against this after awhile she fell silent just staring back at me. Her usual ice princess approach was replaced as she was showing a meekness, which was distracting for me but I had a point to prove. We stared at each other for fifteen minutes which would have been impossible if I didn't have such control.

I began to tell her that something was keeping her distracted from focusing. And when I released her chin her ice princess attitude came back and we began to talk in a heated way. Without fail she brought up me being a half blood and how I couldn't understand. My fingers just latched around her throat and I just pushed her into the door. My eyes didn't budge as I looked down into her eyes, and just like that her meekness returned once more.

I couldn't contain my anger as much as I had hoped and I just lashed out at her. My fingers grasped her skin so easily I had no idea she had such smooth skin like this. Soon i had her pinned to the door and I saw the shock in her expression but she maintained that meek Expression still. The nerve to Call me a half breed again to my face I needed to make sure she understood that I will make her regret it. Heated as I was I still kept my voice as calm as possible while I spoke to her. Having to tell her to not presume to know my intentions based off her half assed prejudice. This whole conversation felt unnecessary and soon my fingers released from her throat. For some reason I still wanted to help her outside of the fact It was my job. But to my surprise she commented how well I can control my temper. Having no response I simply told her to come to my room tonight after dinner and we can speak more to help her find the problem with focus. After exiting my office I needed to gather myself. For some reason that meek expression was to enticing I almost couldn't resist. Something was wrong with me but I need to go make my reports for the day and clear my head of these thoughts.
