Cody waited for another week to directly tell to Cinds about his relationship with Miles though he's giving her hints that he met someone.
Sunday afternoon is their meet-up in the milk tea shop near Cinds apartment. He saw Cinds and another woman beside her introduced as Cinds co-teacher and became close after a month of teaching. So Cinds is comfortable with new company, he felt silently relieved seeing Cinds living a new life and happy embracing her new self and still seeing the Cinds he knew since three. They catched up with each other, dine out and waived goodbye to Peri, Cinds' new found friend hailed on a cab. Walked Cinds home and told her about Miles. He saw how happy she is now that I am a "grown-up man", she's really happy and contented on her present life. Am I happy for her, too? Am I supposed to feel lonely that he is preparing for his marriage while Cinds is here, living alone. Can she still handle things or circumstances that'll occur in her life when and she's not prepared? What is he thinking? Is this normal? He worries too much about Cinds and why now? Why did he let her live alone and finished his degree, accepted on his dream job, found his love and is well-prepared to be with her for life until his last breath and seeing Cinds that she's happy and contented not completely alone 'cause she said she's having fun teaching kids, having small conversation with Peri and some neighbors, having a weekend part-time near her apartment, planning to visit our hometown for Christmas and to visit her parents' grave, search for potential people to rent her parents' house while she's working such simple dreams, not too far compare to his. Maybe he admitted defeat for himself and no plans of telling it to any single soul even Miles that he doesn't wanted to complicated things and their relationship to get stained and not to make Cinds feel differently of him and his infinite dreams.
