And she did.

She was big and old enough to climb over the railing by herself.

And she did.

She needed no help from the passerby screaming, "get down from there!".

Her body hovered over the faint body of water until, finally she let herself slip.

It was then the child became one with the ocean, just like in the photos.

And just like her father before her.
