The first day
Sinister Street is quite a, well, sinister neighborhood to live in. Very few people live in this dark, creepy neighborhood that usually smells of smoke. A friendly policeman, Brayden H. Gulligan, is one of those few people. Brayden had short brown hair, hazel eyes, shiny white teeth, and he stood 5' 7." Brayden had just got done unpacking all of his boxes and supplies. Brayden is currently on vacation and he wants to make the best of it. The one thing he wants to avoid is catching a criminal. Brayden still remembers how Sinister Street really got its name. Brayden's father, Noah J. Gulligan, chased a criminal into the dark neighborhood and killed him. The criminal was a psychopath named Marley Johnson. Noah officially named the place Sinister Street soon after killing Marley. The reason why he killed Marley instead of taking him to jail was because Marley would have found a way to escape, and he did each time he was taken to jail. But sadly, Noah was murdered by a man named Jack Gregory, a man who carried fake ID, was manipulative, and he would kill whoever would let him into their house.
Brayden knew that if there was a criminal nearby, County Prison was right around the corner. Brayden had the right tools in his hands to catch a criminal: handcuffs, a taser-gun, and a collection of other guns. His other guns are the Sniper Rifle, semi-automatic shotgun, metal storm machine gun, Revolver, and an auto-cannon. Brayden only used those guns when the criminals tried to put up some intense, violent fights. Brayden has never lost a fight to a criminal, and he would never lose one in the future since he had some much confidence in himself.
Brayden decided to visit one of the neighbors and make a good impression of himself. So, Brayden walked up to the house that was directly across the street from his and knocked on the front door. The house looked sort of like an old cabin that might have been invaded or something like that. A young man, who looked a bit like Brayden, answered the door. He stood 5' 8," he had short brown hair as well, and he had brown eyes. Brayden held out his hand and said, "Hello, sir. My name is Brayden Gulligan." The man shook Brayden's hand and said, "Hey. I'm Jack Martin. Did you just move here?" Jack asked.
"Yes, I did. You?" Jack stared for a moment and then said, "I just moved here also." Brayden smiled at Jack and then looked around the neighborhood, silently. Jack spoke up, "So, do you maybe want to have a little moving party sometime?" Brayden thought for a second and said, "That would be nice, but I can't really dance." Jack almost laughed. "I can't really dance either." Brayden and Jack sat silent for a minute and Brayden broke the silence, "Well, I've got to go get myself something to eat so, I guess I'll see you later then?" Jack nodded. "Yeah, sure." Brayden and Jack shook hands once more and Brayden said, "Alright, I'll see you later." Brayden walked back to his house and Jack shut the door behind Brayden.
Brayden had a lot to think about that night since Jack had just moved to Sinister Street as well. Brayden wondered if Jack was a criminal or if he was innocent. If Jack were a ticking time bomb or a peace-maker. Brayden didn't know what to think of Jack, he just had to wait until Jack and he do something since Brayden doesn't judge a book by its cover, but he does judge it by its content. Brayden fell asleep while thinking to himself that night since that happens to him so often. Brayden didn't have much of a dream at first but then, he had a dream that one of his neighbors was going to kill him.
