Hello there :)
I'm glad you've stumbled upon my journey to more productiveness.
Let me introduce myself first.
My name is Jessica. I like to read until I'm sleepy, play with my dog until he gets bored, and think about strange paradoxes until my brain malfunctions.1082Please respect copyright.PENANAPdSgt0Z848
Oh yeah, I have tons of homework. And yet I procrastinate a lot.
Or you can say: I procrastinate a lot, and therefore I have a mountain of homework.
But I'm always trying to improve my way of working, so I always try to search up cool ways to be organized, motivated, and basically a functioning student.
I know it's the summer, but there's always room for improvement.
Anyways. Let's get onto the main topic: how to be more productive.
I guess the first thing you can do is to have self motivation. If you have the thought to become more motivated, you're already halfway there.
There are honestly people who just don't care how productive they are and don't care if they don't finish their work. But since I'm a lazy perfectionist, I don't check over my writing but I want to write a lot with great quality at the same time. How ironic. But yeah, I do want to finish all my work on time and I get really worried when I don't.1082Please respect copyright.PENANA6r3tqClRcQ
And while I get more off track, let's drive the train back to where it should go.
Right, so we talked about motivation and having a state of mind to begin with. I'm gonna assume that since you're reading this, you're pretty motivated already, so let's move on to the next thing.
Know your priorities. Or just waste away your life procrastinating like me.1082Please respect copyright.PENANAMwBg1at1yJ
As you have probably noticed now, I'm a pretty contradictory person. I want to do many contradictory things at the same time. But that's life right? Wanting safety and freedom at the same time, searching for excitement while wanting to live a quiet, happy life, or there's the thing about wanting to hear the truth while still exaggerating and flattering ourselves on social media.
Anyyyways.
There are several things that I have tried to do to keep myself knowledgable about my priorities.
I'm just going to introduce my favorite method for organizing my tasks in this post today:
- Agenda/planner (and they almost work except I can't really visually see my priorities) These things keep me really really organized at school because I never forget a single piece of homework and they can show when the deadlines and important dates at school are. There was a period of time where I was so into them that I searched up ways to optimize my planner. And it got so off track that I started drooling over expensive planners, planner stickers, washi tape etc. I still kind of do. Ahhh....today's world's just marketing everything prettily and inducing consumerism.
It's time for me to stop writing...I should do some other procrastination activities now. (It's been 15 minutes of writing.)
I love writing about this :)
I'll be back the next time with more strange technology.
See ya! :3
