Long ago, there were two kingdoms named Gylea and Lygea, the two kingdoms wage war against each other. The Gylea troops were Beastmen like Snakemen, Centaur, Wolverine, and Elves but the Lygea's troops were humans like a hunter, archers, swordsmen, horsemen. The Gylea king's name is Dustin Nicky and the queen's name is Rhody Dela. They have a daughter named Adele. When Adele was 6 years old, she went to her garden with a shovel. There, she dug a hole and found a red-colored egg. She takes it to her home. One day, another war happened again and this time, the Gylea kingdom's troops were outnumbered. Scared, Adele put the egg in a small bag on her falcon pet. It quickly flew to the west side of the kingdom along with the egg. The story begins with Adele's falcon falling near Roy Kivan's house due to exhaustion. Roy Kivan is a young man who has short auburn hair with a forelock that reaches his eyebrows and two cowlicks, somewhat tan skin, blue eyes, and he wears a green T-shirt with a yellow collar, brown pants, and black shoes. Roy was sleeping when he heard a fallen bird sound. He gets out of his house and when Roy turns his head to the left, he sees a falcon under the tree. He approaches the fallen falcon and opens the bag it carries. Inside, he finds a red-colored egg.
He looks at it curiously. "What's this?" he thought.
He brings the falcon inside and puts it on the table together with the egg and go to sleep.
The next morning, the falcon wakes up and it hears a doorbell ringing. Roy wakes up and heads to the door. When he opens it, he sees a little girl standing as tall as his waist. She has mid-length brown hair, brown eyes, fair skin, pointed nose and she wears a blue hooded robe, black pants, black shoes and she carries a dagger and its scabbard.
Roy squats and says," Hello. Are you looking for someone?"
The girl shakes her head. "No. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Alice Maro and I came from Magi Village, Roy Kivan," she said.
Roy was shocked when a 10 years old girl knew his name. "How did you know my name, kid?" he asked.
"The villagers told me about you. They said that something mythical fell near your house last night," Alice said.
Roy stands up. "Oh yes, you come at the right time. Follow me, I will show you," he said.
"Thank you, brother," Alice said.
Alice follows Roy to his bedroom, Alice sees his mom in her room. Inside Roy's bedroom, Roy shows her what he found last night.
Alice immediately runs to the egg to see it closer. "Wow, a Phoenix's egg?" she said with stary eyes.
Roy gives a perplexed look. "What's a Phoenix?" he asked.
"Oh, you won't see a Phoenix anywhere in this town. Phoenix is a firebird and it lives on the mountain east from here," Alice said.
Alice sees a falcon standing near it.
Alice examines the falcon. "This falcon must be the one who carried this egg. It can't go back home anymore, will you name it as your pet?" she asked.
Roy folds his hand and thinks. "I don't know...How about Falco?" Roy said.
The falcon flies and lands on his shoulder.
Alice turns herself at Roy. "Nice name, he's yours now," she said. She puts both hands on both sides of her hips. "Now then, this egg that you found belonged to a princess named Adele and now, her kingdom has been seized by the Lygea," she explained.
Roy looks at her with a wondering look when she mentioned “Lygea”. “Lygea?” he asked.
Alice nods several times at him. "Lygea is a place located on a land named Gargia, a grassland. If you want to go there, we have to wait for Phoenix to hatch and grow up. That place can't be found on any map and only Phoenix knows where it is," she explained.
Roy leans his head slightly to the back upon hearing the explanation. "In that case, why don't you come with me and look around? I will accompany you as we walk around the town," he suggested.
Alice gasps and jumps with her fist raised. "Alright, I'm gonna take my time hanging out with you, brother," she said excitedly.
Roy searches around for his bag and prepares it.
Alice looks at him curiously as he walks around to prepare his bag. “Are you going to school?” she asked.
Roy zips his bag and carries it with one arm on his right shoulder as he looks at Alice. “Not just a school. I’m going to my high school. Wow...for a kid from far away like you to know the term “School”...I’m impressed. I thought that you are old-fashioned and falling behind from technology,” Roy admitted.
Alice seems surprised when Roy called her “falling behind from technology”.
“Falling behind? I may come from far away but I know a lot about technology,” Alice said.
Roy raises his eyebrow in disbelief. “Really?” he said. He looks at her before going. “Are you coming?” he asks.
Alice gave a surprised face and follows him. “Oh yes I am,” she followed him downstairs.
As Roy is about to leave the room, he approaches his mother from behind the sofa. “Mom, we are going to school now,” Roy told her.
His mom looks at Roy behind her as her TV showed the news. “Take care and stay safe out there, lovely,” she put both hands on Roy’s face and kiss his cheek.

“We will, madam,” Alice waves her hand to her and leaves with Roy.
Outside, Roy puts on his skateboard and rides to school followed by Alice from behind. There, everyone seems perplexed upon seeing Alice standing near him. A young man named Ferrin walks to them with a curious look.
"Roy, who is she?" he pointed out with an astonished face.
Roy introduces Alice to him. "Ferrin, this is Alice. She’s my cousin and she came to my house with her family yesterday," he lied.
Knowing that it would be suspicious if everyone found out that Alice is a stranger visiting Roy and stayed with him even if it’s for a while to take care of the Phoenix in his house, Alice convinces them with lying too.
Alice shows both hands as she lied to them “I just came here for several days before my parents return to pick me up”.
Ferrin looks at her with a rather convinced tone. "Really?" he asked.
Roy nods to him. Ferrin looks at Alice.
“Well....enjoy looking around the school, Alice,” Ferrin said.
“I will. Thanks, big brother Ferrin,” Alice said.
As she said that, the school bell rang.
“It’s time,” Ferrin said.
Roy nods and looks at Alice. “Be careful when you walk around here. Don’t get lost and makes sure not to trouble the teachers here, okay?” he advised her.
“Don’t worry. I know how to handle myself,” Alice said.
After school....Everyone runs back to their home while Roy prepares his skateboard.
Alice gives a perplexed look at what he is trying to do. “What are you doing, brother?” she wondered.
"We go home by skateboard," Roy said.
Hearing the terms “Skateboard” gives Alice a better idea. "Skateboard? Oh, you don't have to ride that again, Roy," she told him.
Roy looks at her with a question on his face. "Why?" he asked.
Alice summons a portal in front of them.
Roy gapes in amazement at what Alice just did. "Whoa...," he said.
Alice extends her hand to the portal. "Go ahead," she convinced him.
Roy walks slowly to the portal and tries to insert his hand in the portal. “You sure this is safe?” he said in doubt.
“Trust me, it’s safe. Try entering the portal and see for yourself,” Alice assured him.
Roys enters the portal and Alice follows him inside before the portal closes.
The portal brought them in front of Roy's house and closes.
Alice turns to the back after the portal closes. “The portal couldn’t last long. We were lucky to get out before it closed,” she said.
“Come on, Alice. You don’t want my mom waiting all day long,” Roy called her.
“Okay,” Alice obeyed. As she walks closer, she remembers something and gasps. “Oh no, I forgot! The Phoenix!” she shouted.
“Oh damn, I forgot too. Let’s run upstairs!” Roy said.
Alice and Roy quickly run upstairs to the bedroom much to the mother’s astonishment and freeze once inside.
"(Gasp) it has hatched," Alice said as her mouth gaped in shock.
“Tweet!” a baby Phoenix voice heard nearby.
Alice looks around for the sound. “Did you hear that? Sounds like a tweet,” Alice said.
They search everywhere in the room.
“Where are you, Phoenix?” Alice called.
“Phoenix!” Roy called as he searched it under the bed.
Alice opens Roy’s drawer but didn’t find Phoenix in there. “It’s not here. Hmm, where is it?” she wondered. She closes the drawer and keeps searching.
Roy looks under his study table and found a pink figure there. "There you are," Roy said. He grabs the tiny Phoenix with his fingers and pulls it outside of its hiding place.
Phoenix tweets as it struggles in his arms out of panic. Alice turns at the sound.
“Oh, you found him,” Alice said and approached slowly.
Both of them tried to touch it but it nearly bites Alice’s finger when she tried to pet it.
"It's scared of us. Here, let me handle this," Alice said.
Roy slowly moves the tiny Phoenix to her arm and she shushes it as she gently rubs Phoenix's head. “Oh...aren’t you cute? Don’t worry, we will take care of you,” she said.
Roy smiles upon seeing Alice’s face smiling endlessly over Phoenix’s cuteness.
“Cutie bird,” Alice put Phoenix’s tiny body on her cheek like a hugging.
At the same time, the sound of thunder is heard outside and starts pouring rain.
“Oh, it’s raining. Seems like I won’t be able to come home soon. Your mother wouldn’t mind if I stay, would she?” Alice asked.
Roy scratches the back of his head. “Well....I’m not sure. I don’t she will mind about it though,” he said with an unsure look on his face.
Roy goes downstairs and calls his mom.
“Yes, dear?” The mother answered his call.
As the mother turned her head at Roy, she notices Alice near him which reminds her of what she had forgotten to say earlier. “Oh Roy, I just remembered. Why didn’t you tell me her name when I saw her with you?” she put both hands on her hip.
Roy pounds his head in shock when he remembered.
“Oh right. Sorry about that, mom,” he said.
The mother lowers her back to see Alice closer. “Tell me your name, sweetie,” the mother asked her name.
"My name is Alice Maro. It’s nice to meet you, madam,” Alice said.
“Mom, since it’s raining outside, she can’t go back to her Village. Can she stay here for a while?” Roy asked.
“Of course, Roy. She can stay here for a while,” the mother answered.
“Yay! Don’t worry, madam. I will probably go back to my village when the rain stop,” Alice said.
Until the rain stopped, Alice stayed in their house for a while. By the time the rain finally stops, Alice walks to the door as she planned to go back to her village.
“Roy, I will come here again to check on the Phoenix once a day. Take care of the bird for me while I’m gone,” Alice said.
“Make sure to visit here just like what you said, okay?” Roy told her.
“Come visit again soon,” his mother said.
“Thanks for the hospitality, everyone! Well, I’m going home now. See you tomorrow, Roy!” Alice said and leave.
Once Alice leave, Roy and his mother did their best in taking care of the Phoenix. Just like what Alice promised, she came to their house once a day to help take care of the bird. As the bird itself was more than an ordinary bird, its growth is faster than normal wild birds. In two weeks, it nearly reached the phase of a child much to everyone’s shock.
A month later...It's time for it to fly in its teenage phase. Alice takes it outside.
“Come on, Roy. You won’t see this happen often. Help me throw the Phoenix up so that it can start to fly,” she asked for Roy’s help.
“Wait for me!” Roy ran as fast as he could.
He puts his hand under the Phoenix’s feet.
“Ready? Three, two, one. Time to fly, Phoenix!” Alice shouted.
Both of them throw the Phoenix up and it flies up to the sky.
“He did it! Yes!” Alice cheered proudly.
Strangely enough, Phoenix flies to into a stormy cloud.
“Why did it fly into that cloud? What if the lightning hit him?” Alice said.
Inside the dark cloud, the Phoenix grows drastically. When it returns, it has become mature. The Phoenix has three red plumages, orange ruffs, red rainbow fiery wings, three fiery tail feathers, and a sharp beak. Both of them gasps when it landed in front of them. Alice gapes in shock at Phoenix’s majestic appearance.
"Whoa! How did it grow this fast?" she wondered.
"I am Phoenix and I have come back to this world!" Phoenix boasted in their mind.
From its voice, Alice can tell that it’s male and prideful.
"You can read our thoughts!" Alice said in amazement.
Phoenix leans its chest to the front with pride. "Indeed, I can read your thoughts and speak to your mind. Now, let us fly to Gylea quickly," Phoenix said.
Alice and Roy ride on his back and fly to Gargia land quickly. After a while, they arrive at Gargia land. There, they saw Gylea troops defending their kingdom. They run to the castle and two guards crossed their spears, preventing them from passing through.
"What's your business here?" they said together.
"We came to help win this war, allow us to see the king," Roy said.
"You may pass," the guards said, letting them pass.
They enter the throne room and kneel before the king and queen. "So, you said you will help us win this war?" the king said.
"Yes, Your Majesty," Alice said.
"Very well. You're now recruits of the Gylea kingdom cause we need all help we get, we will bring the armor to you," the king said.
"You have our gratitude," Alice said.
Both of them stand up and go outside to sit on a royal bench in front of the throne room. After a while, the king's servant brought armor to them.
"Wear this, take weapons in the weapon's room and go help our soldiers," the king said.
Alice and Roy put on the armor and go to the weapons room. Alice takes a bow and Roy takes a spear, they run outside the castle.
"You go help them on the left, I go help them on the right", Alice said to Roy. She enchants Roy's spear with flame.
“Alright then. I hope you know what you are doing,” Roy said and he ran to the right.
Alice looks at the brutal battlefield and smirks. “Trust me. They will be shocked with what I can do,” she thought.
Meanwhile, on the right side of the battlefield, Roy shouts as loud as he can. "Gylea troops, out of our way!!" he whipped his right arm to the side as a sign for the troops.
"Troops, stay out of their way!!" The leader told his troop upon seeing Roy's flaming spear on both edges.
Everyone steps away, Roy spins around with his spear pointed out. "This will hurt. Fire Tornado!" Roy's attack burns enemies around him.
Alice hears the burning sound of fire and sees Roy from afar. She smirks when the magic she cast ended up being effective.
“Hmm, I’m glad that worked. Hrmph,” Alice pulled the arrow on the bowstring held by her hand upward with her strength. "Here we go. Comet Burst!" she cast and release the arrow.
The arrow explodes into multiple arrows raining on the Gylean troop much to everyone’s surprise.
"Sssh! I thought magic isn't real," a Gylean Snakeman troop said.
“I don’t think you will expect that,” Alice told the Snakeman and knocked him unconscious with the side of her bow.
"Charge!!" the Leader said.
Everyone marches forward with high spirit. Alice changes her bow into a cross sword and goes the other way. She plans to sneak into the enemy leader.
“Roy! Follow me,” Alice called Roy from his back.
Roy follows Alice and she casts Invisibility on both of them to go there. On the other side, a figure watches the battlefield from his castle. Alice and Roy pass through the castle wall like a ghost and climb up to the balcony. Both of their invisible magic wears off and they sneak into the king from behind. Alice sneaks with her dagger ready instead of the sword. When the king turned around, he was shocked to see Alice and Roy already behind him.
"What are you doing here? How dare you intruding my castle," King Lygea said.
"It's over, King Lygea," Roy said.
The king grits his teeth for having himself cornered by them. “Impressive for children like you,” he admitted.
"Careful, I feel that he uses dark magic," Alice warned Roy.
Just as she thought, the king casts Quick Step on himself. Roy and Alice tried to hit the Lygea king but he is too fast. Alice casts Quick Chrono on both herself and Roy.
“Your speed won’t stop us,” Alice said as she manages to hit the king with Spread Arrow.
“Hah!” Roy's Slash Wave hit the king.
“Gah!” the king exclaimed.
The Slash Wave knocked him back and render three bleeding wounds on the king’s side.
"I will have my revenge. We will see each other soon," he vanished using magic.
Alice’s eyes widened in disbelief at what she has just seen.
“He vanished using magic like you, Alice!” Roy shouted in shock.
“He is the first to use magic for a king. I get the feeling that there is something more about him,” Alice said.
She puts back her weapon and squints her eyes. “I will see you again one day,” she thought.

Alice looks at Roy. “Let’s get back. There’s nothing to do here,” she advised him.
Both of them walk back to the kingdom and everyone celebrates their victory.
“Oh my goodness,” Alice said.
The king suddenly hugs her face. “Thank you. From now on, you are our heroes," he said happily.
Both Roy and Alice are happy to hear that.

“Yup, we did our best,” Alice mumbled due to her face being hugged by the king.
Alice puts away the king’s arms from her and she writes on the scroll a place name in Chinese. Roy looks at Alice who is still writing.
“Time to go home,” Roy said.
“I know that. I’m not done with the writing for making the portal yet,” Alice said.
She finishes the last sentence and the texts come out from the scroll.
“There we go,” Alice said.

“Your Majesty. We are happy for everything but....it’s time for us to go home,” Alice said.
Dela sniffs and waves her hand goodbye to both of them.
“We will miss you, even if it’s for such a short time. Come visit again soon. You are all welcomed here,” she said.
“We will, big sister Dela. Bye, everyone!” Alice waved her hand toward everyone together with Roy.
Everyone waves back at them with a cheer.
Alice smiles widely and puts her foot inside the portal. “Let’s go,” she entered the portal first.
Roy enters the portal and waves goodbye.
At Roy's room, they go downstairs and it looks like Roy's mother were looking at them worriedly and asks," Where have you been? I have been worried about you, Roy”.
Roy shows an excited face for everything that happened. “We had an adventure together earlier. It was amazing," he explained.
"Really? That’s great. Seems like both of you enjoyed your adventure out there," his mother said.
Alice raises her index finger as she was about to ask. “Excuse me, madam. I know that this will be the second time I ask you but.....is it alright if I stayed here once more?” she asked.
“It’s fine, dear. After all, you have been helping us with everything here despite the fact that you are staying for a few hours,” the mother said.
Roy knows his mother said so because Alice helps with the housework despite being a guest.
“She is very strange but innocent-minded. I like that better than having a naughty kid staying here. Even mom liked her, she must be proud of Alice parents,” Roy thought with a very wide smile
"Thanks, madam. I will stay here for a while," Alice said.
And so...Alice stays for several days in their house. Alice and Roy watch the bright sky with a happy smile especially when Phoenix returns to them.
"Phoenix!" Alice hugged.
“I came back. This place feels like home to me,” Phoenix admitted.
“We missed you a lot, Phoenix,” Roy said.
Several days later, Alice decided to return to her village.
"Well, I'm going back to my village. Take care of Phoenix for me. Farewell...," Alice said.
She waves her hand and walks away. Roy waves his hand and Phoenix smiles brightly. Both of them live a happy life.
