In the beginning, there was dark disarray. Amid the chaos, there was a swirl of burning colors. This swirl condensed upon itself and created the rocky sphere we call the world. Then one by one, the swirl of colors separated into seven individual formless masses of color. We call these individuals the Primordials.
Luxus balled a segment of his burning white mass into the sun and created light so that all could see their creation together. The Primordials, impressed with their joint creation, chose to add their own decorations to their rock. Nubius wrapped his somber grey around the rock, blanketing it against the heat from Luxus's light. Aguinix drizzled her deep blue magic along the rock, letting it flow along the bumps and ridges of the rock, to come to pool in divots and dips. Herberci sprinkled soft green across the rock and mosses sprouted. Umbria carefully dripped lengthy streaks of black to follow the swirls of Nubius's clouds, creating shadows. Tempestus, not nearly as carefully, dashed yellow through the clouds, causing the first storm to his delight and the irritation of the others. Spirabili was the last to contribute. Despite the storms created by Tempestus, she found their creation too quiet and lonely. From her twinkling red mass, she dropped tiny clumps across Herberci's mosses and Aguinix's pools. These clumps grew gills, legs, and tails and became salamanders, creatures that may live both on the rock and in the waters. The Primordials looked upon their creation and named it Terra.
Content with their creation, the seven once again spiraled together and condensed. From this they created the heavens, where they again separated and finally took on individual forms. This new creation they named Aetheris and took up residence there so they could keep watch upon their creations below them.
From the Primordials, the first Avendiae were born. The Avendiae were largely weaker than their parents, but like their parents they could create, and many did so. New races and organisms from all sections of life were brought into being by each new generation. This pleased the Primordials, but they soon saw a problem with their first creation. It was only so large and they worried that their children's creations would overpopulate Terra, and so together they created one last realm, Inferis, where past creations may go to rest. The Primordials then themselves went to retire deep in the depths of Inferis where they may still slumber today if they have not faded away, leaving the Avendiae to watch their creation in their stead.
