A Note: I am not trying to offend, insult, or send anything negative towards anyone, with all of my videos, so including this one. If you don't even get balloons, then great job! I wish I was one of those people in one of those groups from the start... Let’s just begin.330Please respect copyright.PENANARtqq2WnpJI
Pls don’t use balloons or blow them up or buy them. Balloons are basically only used for not long term entertainment purposes. There is so much other stuff you could buy besides balloons. You’re probably wondering, why does this person want me to stop buying and getting balloons? Well, I’m here to tell you that first of all, as I said, balloons aren’t long term. Can they last long? I guess in a way, but they won’t be super duper long term, like for example, a table or a hat or whatever else, a book, shoes, etcetera would be long term for the most part or at least last longer than balloons and they are also more useful than balloons. Speaking of the latter, balloons are bought just to make a person and a party look more decorative, special, and looking “more” fun. They’re for people to take pictures with and to show oh this is a pic of me smiling with balloons that show my age. Yay!! By the way, I promise I’m not making fun of people who do that, it’s just that balloons are NOT good for the earth. They’re not good for the environment. By the way, balloons, as sad as it may sound, they don’t go all the way up to Heaven. It’s a nice gesture and there’s symbolism there for funerals, but it’s mostly a spiritual thing. The physical balloon doesn’t go all the way up to Heaven. Latex balloons (balloons that we see normally) can be considered bio degradable, they’re not completely biodegradable because of all of the chemicals and materials going into it while it’s being made. Foil or mylar balloons (the balloons that look shiny) can be reused, but are even less friendly to the environment since they’re not biodegradable at all. Balloons are also used to entertain kids. The thing is, is that kids want to have fun and so they either throw it, which will make it float in the air, and thereby create more waste on this earth, or they will pop it, which will also be waste. I’m not talking about all kids, but kids just don’t know the impact, and they just want to be entertained and play. Not only do balloons contribute to overall waste in this world, but people also don’t dispose of them properly as well (I’m not talking about everyone but quite a lot of them)! Another fact is that the balloons that are released in the air, like I have said they come back down. They end up floating in the ocean or in places that have no waste on their ground, thereby making those places have waste, or contributing to places that have a lot of waste! Animals that see those balloons usually mistake them as food and they eat them (and from what I researched on the Internet, it’s usually latex balloons). People have found pieces of balloons in so many animals bodies when they already passed away, and usually them ingesting it is the reason why they passed away. Like what was said, balloons can end up in places And the ocean which means that animals can accidentally get tangled in the pieces of the balloons. They can get easily strangled, and get hurt or sadly pass away, after… Another reason why we should stop using balloons is that Helium (the element that makes balloons float) is a non renewable resource. What does that mean? A non renewable resource is basically a resource that once we run out of it, we can’t get back. The balloons that are released go up, and so the helium itself can go all the way to space, which means it won’t go back or stay on the earth. Since helium is non renewable, like what was said, we can’t get it back once we have used it for balloons. We’re wasting a resource for short term entertainment. What can we use besides balloons? NOTHING. But if you really want to use something, you can use biodegradable decorations or compostable pencils. If you want to stop using balloons, that is great! I just needed to let you know though that you don’t need to replace balloons with anything. By not using or buying balloons, you are helping the environment and the animals that are affected by balloons. You are also saving money (I’m sorry if that’s a weird reason but it IS true, you ARE saving money), and you don’t have to throw balloons away in the garbage since you stopped buying them! There’s less to clean, less to pick up, you’re benefiting the whole earth, and to be honest, I feel like people take what they have for granted. They post picture of balloons on their social media because it’s aesthetically pleasing or whatever, but the truth it is, if you have the necessities you need to live, you have a strong belief, whether it has to do with religion or yourself, and you lived another birthday, i feel like that’s so much more than enough. YOu don’t need to show how old you are to people with balloons, you can just show yourself, or you with family or friends, or people who make you happy, or animals who make you happy. There’s more to life than following trends or using balloons to better your pictures or to have great decorations. You can still have a great get together without balloons. You just need yourself, your feelings in a good place, and a day full of fun. Thank you all so much for watching. I hope you learned something from this video or got something or just broadened your perspective! God bless!! <3330Please respect copyright.PENANAqsvQvjYsp2
