When it comes to staying inside or even staying in one place, I know for a fact that it is possible in situations even without there being a pandemic. Some people stay in one place their whole life. Some people don't even travel to another place or go out. There are uncontacted tribes that only stay in a specific area (and that specific area is where they live). They don't need to go out and "have fun". They just live their lives according to what they think and what they believe is to be right.
There are people who have a hard time staying in one place, I get it. But think of it this way. You got to go out for most of life (usually), so is it not possible that you can stay home for the safety of every person? Is your life that boring that you HAVE to go out just to please yourself? Do you need to keep meeting friends in order to keep yourself at ease? Please be mindful of others, and don't just think of yourself if you think like that. There are a lot of people, noticeably influencers (as many celebrities post photos of them being outside, and having fun, and since they have a lot of followers, it's noticeable compared to other people). They don't care. The people who go out and have fun think that it doesn't matter because they themselves will probably be safe. Those celebrities probably have a large house, with all of the accommodates that they need, but they still go out (for no reason). They have food, shelter, they can easily get stuff they need without going out, and they have more than enough, to live comfortably and happily; yet they still go out to have fun and meet with others, even though they SHOULDN'T.
I hope that anyone who goes out for no important reason learns their lesson. People are losing their lives because of this. Some people need to go out because they need to work, get their basic necessities, or do something extremely important, but as soon as they're done, they go back home. I hope that everything gets better. However, as long as those selfish people continue to do what they want to do, then it will take quite a long time before things go even back to "normal" (although not fully back to normal as COVID-19 really changed how quite a lot of people live). God is with all of us. I know that we just need to keep staying safe, and believing in God. God is good!
