There once was a princess. She had a father, who was a king, as all princesses' fathers are. He was barbaric and loved dinner and a show. But he hated the poor. And so when he found his daughter and a poor farmer's son alone kissing, he decided to punish the boy. He devised a diabolical plot. He would set the man in a coliseum. There would be two doors. One door would lead to his family, including his fiance. But the other door would lead to a large bear, which would maul him to death. But he would have to marry his fiance if he took that door. The princess heard this and wished to help him, for she loved him. She learned which door the bear would be behind. But then she had a dilemma. Should she lose him forever, but let him live? Or should she have him forever, but in pieces and dead? She lost sleep, tearing out her hair and screaming bloody murder at the walls over this question. Finally, she decided.
The day came. The poor farmer's son was dropped into the coliseum. The king announced the rules, then settled down, smiling smugly. The boy looked up at the princess, for he knew that she would have found out what door the bear was behind. The princess hesitated, then raised her left hand slightly. Trusting her completely, he, without hesitating, went to the left door and opened it.
What was behind that door? You decide. You're the only one who knows your right answer. But keep this in mind. She was a barbarian, just like her father, but she was in love with the farmer's son.211Please respect copyright.PENANAKmHLnzexRU
