What hour is it? The moon has yet to shy out from the cloudy night so nobody knows. Torch fires hide under the embered coals with the breath of every servant now mists. Giza has no plans of sleeping as well. Eyes and a face so stoic that the nightjays—chirping birds that prey on juvenile roaches, peck at her cheeks. But with one glance of her eyes blinking gray and the birds turn to stone. Shattering from their crash to the painted floor that lost its color.
A gust of wind intrudes her candle lit chamber, not anymore with all of them blowing out.
“Guards” She calls, asking them to light up the candles again, as well as close the windows. They do as they are told and leave quickly with their knowing of not to do more than what the princess orders them to do. This pleases Giza but the task lay heavy for her back to rest on the soft royal cushions. These cottons that devour her to sleep, a waste of time. “GUARDS!” With a higher and angered tone, “Call me a calligrapher, the best one and bring them to me, right now.”
Meanwhile, at the leftern halls, Thean is still busy munching on fruits. This time are grapes, enjoying it fully bare under her royal bedroom blankets, on a coach with a mair beneath her. Such is the luxury of a princess, the mair asks if she wants more than simply being naked, obviously trying to be frisky but Thean rejects him. “If you want to get laid with a princess then ask Rumen. She’ll gladly invite anyone into her coochie.”
And the mair responds with a question if the princess cares about her other sister which she replies,
“No, I don’t care about them. Because I doubt, they care about each other as well! SO, they don’t care about me. But if it concerns the kingdom, then Giza would have us round up and do our best to help everyone.”
“Which princess do you think is worst?” he cautiously asks, not wanting to be Thean’s next dinner or snack just like how her eyes blink orange and turn anything she sees into an edible fruit. He saw it, first hand when he angered her and she turned a rat into an apple. Now he tries his best to please her, even if it is just cuddling, kissing, and nothing penetrating.
“In Kinguin?” Thean moans, not minding her mair’s attempts, though she really likes it when someone is all touchy for her as she smiles and rub her chest against his. “Rumen of course, nobody likes her. She is a freak and rotten crazy. Not a single bit of her is also human after she had it with a salamander.”
“It?”
“Shucks to not hear the rumors, I won’t tell. If you want to know, ask that bitch. Though I don’t recommend.” She sits up, off the couch as she makes her way to the desk, where an unfinished letter for Sol calls her. The date is set for tomorrow.
“I will be off then, your highness”
“Mmm~ Lock the door,”
Speaking of Rumen, she is in rightern hall library. Waiting for the poor souls she has ordered to find a certain book that is at the highest shelf. Their fear of heights feeds the princess with a delightful grin, asking them to hurry up while also kicking the ladder to make them scream and hold on tight. “Hurry Hurry Hurry! Give me the book so that you can come down already!”
“M-Milady…I thought we are to invite a prince…shouldn’t we–”
“Enough!” Rumen snaps, “bla, bla, bla, we are supposed to invite a prince, yes, yes or ANY other royal…I will invite a prince. And he shall be from…somewhere~ Maybe Delrith? The twelve constellations? Or from the dark west? Ah~ I cannot wait,” She shakes the servants’ ladders violently, “I CANNOT WAIT, I CANNOT WAIT, I CANNOT WAIT! Hurry. HURRY UP AND LET’S GO! I will have one of you as sacrifices!” The faces of the servant already see death as they frantically try to reach out for a book that she is asking. One of them finds it, ‘Calchotomy of mummies. “That’s right~ bring that baby to me and jump down!” She kicks the ladder and the servant comes screaming down. It would be a shame to kill, especially with the frightful expression the servant is panicking in the face of death. Uttering silent words, Rumen’s eyes blinking blue and a flame engulfs the servant as they crash and bloodily splatter on the library floor. The other servants watch in horror as they quickly climb down their ladders. “Don’t worry~ She is not dead; she might even be thankful after feeling death~”
Why does she even want the calchotomy of mummies? Like the shy night sky, nobody wishes to know why. Her and the shaky servants leave the one that is burning. Before the one that is thought to be dead rises with her wounds healing from the extinguishing flames. She stands motionless, motionless, motionless, without any life in her eyes.
“Now for a sacrifice~”
Everyone can feel her eyes even though they are walking behind. The echo of her pointed heels, her deathly voice and lullaby. Has the servants hold hands. The servant who was thought to be burned suddenly is walking beside them and no one noticed. Her hollow eyes lack any glint of life. They wave their hands, trying to catch her attention but it almost seems like she does not see them. Hands held together and the servant with the dead(?) servant feels her hands cold. Dead but not exactly dead…what is she to be able to twist and break her neck?
“HAHAHAHAHAHA! THE LOOK ON YOUR FACES!”
“P-princess Rumen…”
“AWE! What’s with those disgusted looks? Aren’t you happy to be holding hands with each other~ How comforting~ How heartwarming to feel your friends’ hands~ Say, how about I make you all as my sacrifices? I wonder who would be called~”
“P-princess---”
“I hear nobody arguing~ Let’s go then~ For real this time~”
But then, a priest comes out of the chapel where the bloody pigeon cross is. Stumbling and hitting the princess’s shoulder…what comes next is what everyone expects. The priest, seeing that it is Princess Rumen he bumped, broke his own knees and abdomen to curl and beg for his life. Begging and begging for mercy, please, please, please, the amount of please displeases Rumen. And her eyes blaze bright blue for the priest to burn and scream without a sound in a blue scorch. “Ah…I should have offered him because he is a priest…Oh well…” She scoops the fresh ashes, not minding how it is literally searing down her skin. Thrill and charmed in her breathless moaning grin, inhaling roughly before blowing. Uttering silent words for the ashes to rise and take the form that of the priest. “Will this one do though? He is already dead but I think…I can do it…Yes…I know you are still here priest. Dare to run away, and be burned that even Delrith nor Necroxia won’t witness your diexistence.”
A bellowing gust whiz pass the princess and the ashen corpse of the priest coughs alive. “P-princess…please, please. Have mercy on my soul. You may kill me over and over again but please, spare the souls of everyone…”

“hehe~ Such is the power of high royalty”
On the other hand, Giza still remains on the edge of her bed. Sitting quietly like a statue. Waiting for the person she asked for. Staring at the painting of the most caring queen and the forgotten king. What do they even look like? Their heads on the art have all been cut off.
Then comes a knock, “Your highness, Cal. Fiona is here for her service.”
“Yes…” She says tonelessly, “come in…”
A well poise, one that catches the princeess’s attention with her white bright dress and pearl accessories donning her face. Entering the room with elegance and proper courtesy when greeting a high royal. Bowing, kneeling, “Gorse Grace, high princess, Giza~” and kissing the princess’s left feet.
“A calligrapher, I presume?”
“That I am~ and I wish to serve as your hand, high princess”
Pleased, though emotionless, Giza stands to open the windows, once again blowing out the candles. Which she does not call the guards, this time, she asks her calligrapher to light the room. Although, why would a calligrapher be bringing a lit candle or anything for burning a candle whick, she only has a pen and she is careful with herself. Not speaking and trying to divert the princess in ignoring her question. It is bold, but when you see someone who seems to be in a state of sleepwalking, the calligrapher has the feeling of having the princess stay on track with why she is here. Indeed, she has the princess following the words she writes on the royal vellum. Thick just like how Giza’s face has been.
“After these addresses princess…We can proceed now to writing the main body for the invite.”
“Yes…” Giza sighs, eyes stuck open, speaking in a flat, formal tone

And many others that the calligrapher’s hand is starting to swell, even switching to her other hand. Who knows how many she has to write for. But on the tenth letter, Giza starts to stutter, shaking her head and as if waking, asking the Fiona what is happening. Which the calligrapher gulps down a saliva, and try to keep her tone and voice as formal as possible. Her exhausted eyes looks like they might fall off. And Giza finally realizes that it is night, not applicable for a creative to be writing long extensive letters.
“That would be all for today. Better you conserve your energy and try again beginning in the early morn of today.” Giza sends off the calligrapher and after she has gone. She takes an ashtray and align it directly under her face. Watching the night sky, stars behind the obstacle clouds, her eyes glow gold and her face crack. Peeling off like melted snow onto the ashtray.
Indeed, the forest yonder is dark. But the mansion over west where the foggy marsh resides further, glows bright in the night. Sol had what she expected over a messenger that tells her of inviting princes from another kingdom. Though she really does not know anyone and who she should invite. Why she is still even up is also because of the same reason why she knows nobody. Looking at her reflection in the mirror, she does not see this young girl who looks up to the lord magister, and try to act smart and be one step ahead, rather, she sees a mature version of her, wearing a black and white armor with scarlet eyes, blood tainted lips and cheeks with pale ski---
“Princess?”
Sol pulls herself out from that woman…that woman in the mirror. It was not her. Not her, panting heavily.
“High Princess, are you okay!?” The guard runs up to her in panic, carrying the young lady to the infirmary where the doctor—pale skin with yellow serpent like eyes, ask the guard to lay her on the bed carefully. “Please, tend to the princess doc. If you need anything, I will go and get it immediately.”
The doctor sniffles, “Garlic…” He says,
“Garlic? Do you want me to grab garlics? We have many of the—”
“I want them burned.”
“…” A strange request that the doctor’s words even sound like honey. The guard salutes before leaving, “I will go tear down the garlic vines…”
Sol slowly opens her eyes, expecting to see a ceiling but it is the man—the monster whom she invited in earlier this morning. A creature of dramescula—A creature with fangs and eyes that turn bloody scarlet with bloody tonsils before diving down ang biting her neck. Sol gasps for breath, moaning and groaning before this monster gets on top of her and raises her see through chemise for the bare skin underneath. A most supple and delicious skin that slowly paint pale. Sol continuing to moan and gasp as her teeth grow out fangs, and her purple eyes grow scarlet. The burning sensation from her neck pulsates throughout her body, exciting the monster and turning her into a wild animal in heat. Raising her legs and inviting this monster for a festival that both excite themselves in.
the monster whispers a chuckle to her ear. “Hehe Milady, thank you for your invitation~”
