“So, there are two demons that are leading the undead armies? And they are under the lich’s command?” I said
“yes, and one is right here in the forest. Your female friend found out about it and decided to leave you behind.” The tree demon said.
“Hmm, I will need to tell Warzheil about her, how can she just leave me behind?”
“Well she said something about revenge, but she didn’t sound like she meant it. Now that I think about it she looked confident that you would be fine without them.”
“What is your name?”
“ I have lived in these forests for centuries now. Normally one’s parents or the demon king would name a newborn demon but I don’t have parents and the demon lord wouldn’t visit such a remote area.”
“Oh, can I name you then? I can't call you demon in front of other humans or else they will be suspicious.”
“No, when a demon receives a name. Their powers increase. If parents give a name then nature gives normal powers. Depending on your parents' rank in the demon society, the power received also varies. You are neither my parent nor a demon king. Well, there are cases where demons were named by other species and they did work.”
“All this for a Damned naming ceremony? I will call you Sheru. That name reminds me of Dog.”

Suddenly the tree demon starts to emit a dark aura.
“Wh-whats happening!?” he said
The dark aura shrouds him and when it disperses, the demon has become more robust and handsome and still resembles a human.
“No way, this power. I have seen demon generals in this forest, this power is nothing beneath their own. How can a human who isn’t a complete human name me?”
“Well, Luck you I guess. I hid the truth from you. I merged with the ‘126th demon lord’ Geolard.”
The tree demon is at a loss for words.
“G-G-Geolard? I am not well versed in demon or human history but everyone knows of Lord Geolard! He is the only Bone Demon to have become a Demon Lord and fought head-on against the gods! But looking at the destruction the war brought upon common people he decided to resign from his position Bringing shame to even those false gods that claim to be good.
“That’s fine and all, but I want to hear more about the demons who are leading the army”
“Oh, sure master.”
“Master? Oh, so you were serious when you said you would be my slave?”
“Well, *Hesitatingly* at first I thought I would run away or kill you but knowing that you are so capable that even lord Geolard combined with you and having lost most of my abilities as a tree demon I changed my plans. I don’t know about Etiquits but please let me serve you, Master.”

“By the way what is this strange symbol on my hand?” He said raising his hand curled into a fist.
“What!? So this thing works on living beings as well. That must mean it works on anything that is considered mine?”
“Anyway, Ronin is my name now tell me of the demons, and don’t use ‘Master’ it has an annoying ring to it and it feels disgusting.”
“Yes! Lord Ronin. There are two demons……..”
He tells me that the Undead army is split in two waves. The first is led by a hero of the former generation now turned into a demon undead by the Lich and the second is led by some small fry. The second wave is to destroy the determination of the village’s warriors. Surprisingly enough Sil is a High elf who has been a problem to the Lich’s plans and is a master in wind, water, and healing magic arts. They want to remove Gloria, Warzheil, and Sil in one swoop.
“Even if we move now we will need a fast stead to reach the village fast.”
“You are right, even if I ran at full speed it would take me an hour to reach the village, it's already been above an hour since we have been in the forest.”
“You can reach the village in an hour!!? From what I hear from the demons it's about 3 to 4 hours away even on a Greizer. You must be joking, only the demon lord at the second stage or the heroes at level 900 can run that fast.”
“Well let’s go. I have a plan, but I will need your help.”
“I will follow you wherever you go, Master.”
“For goodness’s sake Don’t call me master, use something else!” I said as we start walking
“Ok, Lord Ronin.”
“Now That’s what I like, keep using that instead.’”
Soon we exit the forest and there we see a group of wild Greizers.
“Excellent, we found ourselves a ride,” I said as I moved towards the herd but Sheru stopped and pulled me into the bushes.
“My lord, you seem unfamiliar with this world, first of all, Greizers boasts a huge mana capacity with a natural talent to have absurd wind magic and to top it off the heart has a rare entity in it.”
“I Don’t care however strong their magic is, at the end of the day it's just a small breeze,” I Said
“A small breeze? They can create twisters if they come down to it, and There is an alpha Greizer in the herd too. They are Super rare species of Greizers that can use High-grade Gravity magic and out of 100 herds only one herd has an alpha Greizer. Their speeds can reach 200km and they run on air, unlike normal Greizers who can only use levitate in most cases, not to mention they are aggressive.”
“Oh, I was thinking about getting an encyclopedia but now that I have you it won’t be necessary,” I said as I hit his back as a sign of praising him.
“I can’t believe you don’t know even this much.”
Suddenly the ground starts to shake as we see a huge Army of undead emerge from the forest.
“Oh no, the herd is in the Army’s way.” He said
We witness the power of the Alpha Greizer, it seems to command the herd to do attacks in unison as it shakes its head occasionally and then it uses its Gravity magic which flattens many undead into bone powder but the army becomes aggressive and most of the herd dies protecting their leader as the undead charges towards the Alpha greizer.
“That’s a sad end to such a calm group, Greizers don’t deserve such grueling deaths. They are fine steads who will fight till death to protect their riders.” Sheru said with an angry expression.
“What are you talking about?” I said as I stood out of hiding in the bushes.
“I would shame my Grandpa and my years of combat experience if I just sit still and watch my new bike get wreaked,” I said
“But Lord! The army is too big!”
“Can a demon lord take the army down?” I said
“Y-yes, but why do you as this all of a sudden? You are no demon lord, with all due respect my Lord, you cannot measure to even 5% of what lord Geolard was.”
“Let me clear this misunderstanding of yours. I am no fool to get in a fight I don’t think I can win. And as far as how qualified I am. Well, I am the one who killed your current Demon Lord.” I said as I walked away.
“You can stay hidden and wait as I make quick work of this little party of dead bones,” I said
“He killed the demon lord? And yet he has so much power? He for sure is not a hero as I sense no mana from him”
“Admin command: Activate Behemoth,” I said
“Voice command matched. Activating A.I. Behemoth” a voice in my suit said.
“Good evening Sir, I have analyzed all the data that I received from the mic and the camera during my mute period,” Behemoth says
“Don’t talk unless I tell you to. Play some music at 30% volume to get me rocking this small party of ours.”
“As you wish sir,” Behemoth said
I rush at the undead rushing at the Alpha Greizer and launch a force blade at them which breaks them with relative ease. I stand in front of the Alpha greater but it suddenly kicks me aside. Although it's not too threatening as I didn’t feel much pain from that my music did stop.
“Hey, why did you stop the music?” I said
“It signifies the downfall of your adrenaline rush,” Behemoth says
“I will deal with you later. And you! I am trying to help you!” I said to the Alpha greater.
The horse shakes its head as it flutters its mouth.
“I think this fellow doesn’t like you getting in his fight,” Sheru says as he joins me.
“Oh? By the way, Sheru, aren’t these undead living due to mana?” I said while killing the undead

“Yes and no, but miasma is an unrefined version of mana, to explain all this will take time. Gods use cosmic energy to make divine power just like our bodies take air and food to run, then they refine it into divine power and let go of the unrefined part which we call miasma, the nature is equipped to refine miasma and turn it into mana. But there is only 60% of miasma being converted into mana. Living beings cannot interact with miasma but dead things become a part of nature hence they can. Some end up as undead while some become even worse, When miasma manifests in physical form it becomes visible and is toxic to living beings so make sure you don’t get hit by them. Although we demons can also use miasma that is the reason the gods don’t like us as the demon lords can convert miasma into anti divine power which most call demonic powers.” Sheru said
“That is quite a rich history. Can you take our horse and his friends away? Tell him I am not fighting for him but for the village.”
“How do you know I can speak to them?”
“I just assumed that trees can talk to animals.”
“I am a demon, not a tree”

“Yes, I am glad you know at least something.”
“There is no end to them!”
“There are around 700 of them. We have taken out only 60 or so.” He said while fighting using Root magic and earth magic.
“So can humans use mana freely?” I said
“N-no, damn this human body is so weak I need to breathe now and then, or else my mana force becomes weak.”
“Now you know being human is not easy.”
“We of the demon race think of humans as cursed beings. They are mostly fragile beings.”
“You are yet to answer me.”
“Sorry my Lord, as I said, Humans or any other being cannot use mana freely. Nature only allows more use of mana depending on an individual’s mana pool, if you have a mana pool of 10 mana, then you can only use 4 mana out of it if you use more, then it puts heavy strain on the body and one might die if they use more than 5 points of mana assuming they have 10. The body uses the rest of the mana to circulate the mana in the mage’s body to counter the repelling force that is generated due to its use. Just like a thing going upward in the air will be acted against by the pulling force of the planet, The rest 1 mana points counter the recoil forces in the body.”
“Wow, you guys don’t have physics do you?”
“What’s physics?”
“It defines the laws of the universe. The pull of the planet is called Gravitation. You guys know about gravitation magic and you don’t know about gravity? That's such bullshit.”
“That’s irrelevant, Gravity magic can shift one’s mass in any direction till you have the mana to do so, although most can do it against the ground. The Alpha Greizer here can create a dense layer of air to use gravity against that surface in air.”
“Woah, now I think I am the one in need of some mana classes,” I said

MEANWHILE in New Forest
Gloria has returned with the hunting team, everyone welcomes them as they bring along two Groth Rabicorns which is a big rabbit with 2 horns on its head.
“Gloria you have returned? Where is Ronin?” Sil asks
“Grandma Sil, there is a huge army of undead heading here. The lich’s minions are leading the army. The first wave is 400 while the last wave is 700 strong we need to leave this village now!”
“What?!” Sil says as her expression grows grim and she starts thinking.
Warzheil arrives.
“Where is Ronin?”
“We couldn’t find him in the forest and we got scared seeing the army heading here, so.[interrupted]” Kade said
“So you left him in that forest to die!!” Warzheil yells in anger
The hunters bow their heads in shame while Gloria looks away in guilt, but Wyran, one of the hunters gathers courage and steps forward.
“To be honest I did not want to leave him behind and was against Miss Gloria and Master Kade’s plans but I couldn’t disobey them. But if you allow me, I would like to go and bring him back.”
Some are shocked and many are surprised at this statement of Wyran.
Warzheil starts laughing.
“Well said young one. But don’t be mistaken, I did not scold you all because you left Ronin behind, I don’t want to see this happen again, never leave a friend behind.”
“Are you telling us you are not worried about Ronin?”
“Why would I? That man is no joke. He will come back to us just fine and surely you will know why I have such a high opinion of him, Now! Everyone, we need a ship! All builders and villagers gather near the shore with wood and metals we will repair the old ship in 2 hours! Kids, how long do we have?”
“Less than an hour, the second army was also on the move when we found it, so they will be here in 2 hours,” Gloria said.
“Ok, Anyone who can fight stay here, others come with me! Grab the kids, take food, and everything useful! No bringing useless things or else I will kick your ass off the ship.” Warzheil yells as he leads the villagers to the shores.
“I will stay behind,” Sil says.
“Me too.” says a man among other people who didn’t go with Warzheil. Many others follow up after and join the defense force.
BACK TO THE FOREST
I, Sheru, and the Alpha greater are running around as we slowly pick off the undead rushing at us. All the other Greizers are dead. To be honest I don’t want to use my full strength as it will rip the fabric of my suit, I can’t let that happen as it will only have a chance of being repaired in the elven kingdom, But looking at the situation I may have to go all out as the horse is not willing to run away.
Suddenly the ground starts to shake gently as we see a giant bone monster with some crystal-like stones all over its bones rise from the forest.
“A Frost bone titan?! They have such a monster Here?” Sheru said
“Explain!” I said
“Bone titans are monsters from the underworld. They are mighty undead titans that serve the overlord of the underworld called Kronos.”
“Kronos?! You have that guy here too?”
Sheru looks a bit confused when I say this.
“Anyway, There were 3 groups of primordial trinity gods, one of which had plans of destroying all beings on this planet and the Earth realm, But his sons who were one of the first 5 trinity groups of Ancient gods, the next generation of primordial gods were forced to seal their parents in the Depth of the underworld.”
“I know about the story, Titanomachia,” I said as I fought.
“So you do know about somethings. When Kronos started the plans he was in Earth's realm, but after failing there, he escaped from the underworld onto our world. The primordial gods sent their New generation of gods to save and rule our world and ever since then we have been under those foolish god’s rule.”
“You seem to be doing well, talking while fighting is not something an amateur can do,” I said
“Didn’t I tell you? The original owner of this body was a fine fighter, he almost killed me” he said
“Woah watch out dodge!” I say as the giant bone titan is about to crush Sheru.
Sheru dodges on time.
“Oi Horsie! I don’t know if you get it or not but we can’t win like this, take this man with you and go.”
The horse refuses while shaking his head violently.
“Hey, Sheru take this fool and go.”
“I can’t just leave you behind my Lord!” he said while fighting
“Fool! I will hold them for you to escape, I can run fast so don’t worry.” I said
“Ok” saying this, Sheru leaps back near the Alpha Greizer and puts his hand on the horse, the horse repels him at first but then agrees on second try.
“We are going, make sure you don’t fall behind or I will call you master,” Sheru said as he left with the horse which ran on air at astonishing speed.
Finally, I can use my full power. For some reason, the undead army is no longer moving. Suddenly the undead army’s formation splits in two to make a path for a figure who approaches me.
“If you value your life, Become my slave or else I will feed you to my hungry undead.” The figure clad in dark armor and ominous aura says.
“*exhales while cracking neck* Finally someone worth testing my full strength on.”
I tighten my body as it grows in size to an extent due to the muscles tensing up. I can feel the power in my legs and arms ready to blast some bones away.
Meanwhile in the village. The soldiers are standing on the walls staying vigilant, they see a patch of darkness rising from the horizons of the terrain as the savage undead of different races clad in armor approach the city.
A soldier sees them and runs to ring the big bell on the walls,
“*ring ring ring ring* The undeads are here!”
Gloria and Kade come running in very good-looking armor.
“What? They are moving faster than before? Why didn’t you tell me, Kade?” Gloria said
“The truth is that the demon killed my Bawarian, I couldn’t see them anymore, and maintaining a long-distance connection requires that much mana.” He said
“Tell Warzheil they are here 20 minutes before the time we predicted,” Gloria orders Wyran.
