Night had fallen quickly as the goddess of divination and fertility wistfully admired the view of the landscape from her heavenly home. She longed for the intimate embrace of her husband, the god of creation, but he was away with his brothers dealing with some troubling issues in the one of the terra realms.
Retiring to their shared quarters, she laid down on the bed and let out a sigh as a deep slumber overcame her only for it to be interrupted minutes later by strong arms encasing her from behind. A smile graced her features as she felt full lips cover her own.
“Has everything been taken care of?” She asked sleepily, eyes still closed.
“Not exactly,” the deep bass voice of her husband said. “But, it is a start. We will have to go back very soon.”
She sighed. “I understand, my sister has requested my own presence in the realm of Telyssia.”
“Really?” He paused, considering her words. “Your journey wouldn’t have anything to do with the Mage King would it?”
“Yes, actually.” She turned to face her husband. Concern colored her features. “What do you think this could mean?”
“I guess we won’t find out until we get there,” he said. His smile turned lecherous with desire. “But, enough talk about bothersome matters. I’ve missed you, Kíüe.”
Knowing exactly where his thoughts were headed, she caused her garments to disappear. She kissed him passionately and she let the palm of her hand slide down the length of his chest
“Oh Thesperias,” she whispered in delight as he teased her. “Be gentle with me my love.”
“I make no promises.” He chuckled darkly.
At his words, an icy chill creeped into her veins as Kíüe allowed him to lay her back on the plush pillows. The feeling ebbed away as they kissed again before consummating their love.
Time had come to pass and the two were wrapped in post coital bliss, she rested on her husband’s chest contemplating what they had just done. It surprised her how rough he was with her this time, more so than usual. She decided to ask him about it.
“Thesperias? That was so different, you were quite rough.”
“You are right, Kíüe.”
“You’re not Thesperias, are you?” She whispered. Her stomach filled with stones and the lump that had been growing in her throat made it difficult to speak. A flash a light tore through the sky and a crack of thunder followed not long after. She pulled away from him and fell off of the bed, crashing to the floor as his true identity became clear.
“Teidän.” His name tasted like poison on her tongue.
He smirked at her as he stood up from the bed, his countenance came to change slightly. There was not much of a difference though, because her husband and his brothers were actually born in triplicate. Three beings with one face.
Tears streamed down her cheeks.
“HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME? To Vhae’Lora?” She screamed causing energy to spark from the tips of her fingers. “Is my sister not enough for you that it was necessary to seek me out? I am like blood to you!”
“I never saw you that way and if I recall,” he began inspecting his nails with a smug expression. “You enjoyed it.”
Anger coursed through her entire being and a large dagger appeared in her hands. She stood and stalked closer to where he was standing, energy crackling making her figure shift in and out of view.
“YOU!” She roared as she brought her weapon down on his nether regions.
He screamed in agony and shock. The sounds causing the terra beneath them to shake violently.
“Never again will you be able to use the appendage between your legs as a weapon,” Kíüe vowed as she hacked away at the god of darkness and strife. Silver blood sprayed everywhere until her victim temporarily ceased to exist. He would regenerate in time and by then, everyone would know of what he had done.
Mentally and physically exhausted from her ordeal, she drew a scalding bath to rid herself of his blood, his scent, everything. Tears came in torrents as they flooded from her eyes. Her emotions swirled from anger to disappointment and finally to guilt as she scrubbed her skin raw. How was she going to tell her husband about this? He would surely destroy everything in his path once she did.
Satisfied that she was clean to an extent, she took a minute to relax.

She cocked her head to the side as a warm sensation resonated from her deep within her. In that moment she knew.
“No.... no, no, NO!” She howled. Debilitating panic coursing through her blood.
She was with child.
