Full Prompt: Begin a story with a theft-perhaps a small act of shoplifting, a major financial fraud, a pick pocketing or a great art theft.
I grab the book off of the shelf and hide it in my bag, I have done this so many times it is just part of me. Or I should say part of my nature. I have probably stolen thousands of dollars worth of stuff by now.
It all started when I was 12 when I saw a bookmark I wanted but I didn’t have 20 fucking dollars to pay for it so I stole it. And that is how this whole mess started.
