In the era of my devotion,

where shadows cast long and deep,

a shield, once bright, now ashened,

crumbles beneath the weight of time.

Fractured waves tremble, reflecting

the fleeting truth of what was once whole.

Seven peaks rise, shadowed and alone,

each crowned by solitude,

their silence is an anthem of forgotten vows,

the blade hums, a mournful whisper,

it's gleam now dulled in the forge of grief,

a pristine crucible, burning still in metal's grasp.

Sorrow drips like poison from light,

amber holding the darkness,

lies wearing the guise of truth,

malevolence hidden in the warmth of day.

False, it is, this shape that does not fit,

A dissonant sourness, refusing to settle in my soul.

I refuse, I will not belong to this,

to be swallowed by these falsehoods,

the blade of my shield carving a trace,

carving a path toward truth,

for I stand against the tide,

and will not yield.
