“THIS is crazy, right? Me falling in love with a girl I barely knew and running to her like a love-struck pabo.” Sungmin was sitting beside Leeteuk in the waiting area for their flight back to Manila. They were all in disguise because they didn't want to alert the rest of the passengers that they were SuJu.
“No, it's not. It's pretty normal. Which is something we don't get to do all the time. I am happy for you, prince.” Leeteuk pulled down his shades and looked at something. “Wow.”
Sungmin, Donghae, and Eunhyuk looked at the direction their hyung was looking at. “What are you looking at, hyung?” Donghae knew that Leeteuk had an odd taste in women. So he was wondering if his wow meant he saw someone he liked.
Leeteuk smirked and walked towards someone carrying a pink bag. Sungmin looked at the ticket in his hand. He didn't have time to waste on Leeteuk's new weird muse. He had to think of what to say to Jans when they see each other again.
JEN tapped her foot waiting for the other girls to catch up with her. Sometimes they were just so clueless about time. A man approached her and asked her something. She didn't turn towards him and he repeated his question.
“Excuse me, are you okay?” he asked.
She turned to him and tilted her head then frowned. “What?”
“I asked if you were okay?” he looked really concerned so she answered him.
“I am good. Why do you ask?”
“Oh, cause I think that fall must have hurt.” Leeteuk was smiling now.
“Fall? What fall?”
“It must have hurt when you fell from heaven. Someone like you could only be an angel.” he flashed a brighter boyish smile at her.
Jen sighed, looked at Leeteuk from head to toe, then raised her eyebrows. “Hey kimchi-eater, keep your corny lines to yourself. Or I'll drop-kick you even before I call for security. Capish?”
Leeteuk was shocked by her sudden animosity. She looked like she was gonna bite his head off. Three other girls came to her supposed rescue.
He removed his shades and smiled at them. New targets acquired.
They gasped when they realized who he was, “Oh my god.”
But the admiration that he was supposed to hear and see faded after a few seconds. They all said, “What the hell are you doing here?”
Donghae, Eunhyuk, and Sungmin were behind him. Leeteuk hit his forehead with his palm.
Sungmin stepped forward. “I am here to go to Manila to find you.”
Jans oh-ed.
Donghae held took Ninz bag then ran. Ninz ran after him. Eunhyuk ushered May to the coffee shop.
Leeteuk held Jen. He had an arm around her waist. She refused to leave her sister and was struggling. He whispered something to shut her up. “If you don't keep quiet I will ravish you right here, angel. Damn the press.”
“To do this.” Sungmin reached for Jans' hand and went down on one knee. “I was a coward. I was terrified of you the very first time I met you. I didn't know why my parents would ever do something as archaic as setting me up with a woman not only from another country but also from another race. I thought my life would be spent without my family because I would have to be disowned just to keep my freedom.” he held on even though Jans was trying to pull her hand. He stood up and pulled her closer. “But as much as I don't want to admit it, you are a woman after my own heart. I can't enjoy paradise without you. I would give up being drowned in adoration if you just tell me that you love me too.”
Jans whispered something on his chest.
“What was that, ne sarang?” he chuckled because it tickled.
She looked up and said, “I need to learn how to share.”
“Share?” he was confused.
“They can scream for your name as long as you only call mine,” she said hiding her blushing face with the muffler.
He held the muffler and chuckled. “Who wears a muffler to the beach?” he asked.
“Someone who loves the one who gave it to her.”
“Do you forgive me for being a pabo?” he had to be sure.
“You have to make it up to me forever,” she smirked at him.
“I can start forever right now.” he held her chin and leaned down for a kiss.
Jans hiccuped.
Sungmin wanted to laugh but decided that nothing would stop him from loving her. Not himself and especially not hiccups.
He pulled her to him, hiccups and all, and kissed her like there were no cameras around, no friends to think about, no families to consider, or life choices to make.
It's not every day that you can have the one you love, love you. It was his heart's birthday after all. So nothing else matters.

Author's note :
This was an old story that I finished a long time ago as a birthday present for a girl named Janz who was a Sungmin bias.
This story was made in 2011 so you do the math on that.
These days Sungmin is happily married and spending lots of time interacting with fans online via Youtube and TikTok. Janz is still a fan of Super Junior but not sure if Sungmin is still her bias or not.
Thank you for reading the story and I hope you can forgive the rough style and probably loads of plotholes on this story. I haven't edited it since the first time I finished it so I am guessing it's a fine mess. ^^
