“Cairo?” I ask walking slowly towards the statue.
He turns around to stare at me silently
“Hey Cairo come on mum so worried about you”
He doesn’t answer and just turns back toward the statue.
I pull on his arms trying to drag him away
“Cmon we need to go home. The police are out here looking for you!”

“Warren,” I hear a voice call. It’s coming from the statue

But the forest is now silent. I turn and run back towards the house. On the way there I see Roman. I run towards him and call his name
“Whoa Warren are you ok?” He asks looking concerned

“Roman,” I gasp “I found him there was a statue and-and voices he just d-disappeared I-I don’t-“
“Ok ok Warren calm down shhh it’s ok”
He says pulling me closer “what happened?”
I calm down enough to explain everything I heard and saw
“Oh Warren, “ he whispers “It’s ok, it’s probably just like stress or something making you hallucinate it’ll be ok”

“IT WASNT A HALLUCINATION!” I yell at him
“Ok then where is this statue?” He asks
I shake my head “you can’t go there it’s horrible the voices will get you too!”
Roman sighs “if you show me where it is though maybe I can help you get your brother back”
I hesitate. I don’t want Roman getting hurt, but maybe he can help me save Cairo. But if Roman dies I will feel as if both thier deaths will be all my fault. But then maybe we can save Cairo and then after me and Roman will be closer together ? And Maybe the voices left now. Ig it won’t be too bad if I show him real quick.
“Ok it’s this way but be really careful and don’t listen ti the voices!” I eventually say
I take home back to the statue and he walks around for a bit before coming back
“I don’t hear nor see anything, the voices were probably just a hallucination. Let’s go back”
“It wasn’t a hallucination” I whisper
“Well let’s go get and adult I guess, see if they can figure out what this statue is. “
