When i woke up today everything seemed normal, i got up, brushed my teeth, washed and put on my clothes. before going down stairs to cook my breakfast. Today it was Fish and chips.
I went up stairs and sat down at my desk (I am one of those people who eat while working) Next to me was fish tank and in it was ET (i called him that because he had a kind of funny face which reminded me of the alien from the film)
"HEY"
"what was that?" i thought, who said that? I lived alone in a small apartment afterall. I must be hearing things i thought
"Stop being a stupid fish" i said to my self
"I hate you"
"wait what" I looked to my side and realised that my fish was somehow talking to me!
"How could you say such a thing" ET said
"you do not understand my pain, you do not understand my suffering, I was born in an ocean free from the cruel human world. Then i was captured by a ship and then sent to store where i stayed for a few days until you bought me. You put me in a glass jar, i am trapped in this jar in my own world of pain and suffering, I feel like i have no mouth and i must scream, please let me free from this jar"
"What the fuck?"
" why do humans capture us only to trap us within glass cages or to eat us? what have we fish done to them? Please master, let me return to my fish family, I have a wife and kids! please let me free!"
"Police! help! my fish is having an existential crisis"
" Why am i still here? just to suffer, Everyday i keep having memories of my family, my friends, Its like there all still there, My former fish world!"
" This fish is in a dangerous self destructive state! I must call the scuicide prevention line." i thought to my self

I decided i should help ET
"It'll be alright ET, its fine i'm here fo-
"Shut up, it'll never be fine until you set me free from my glass cage. Set me free or i kill you!
I decided that ET was better of free than with me, I quickly pulled him out of the water and rushed to my nearby river and quickly threw him in it, I felt so happy that ET had finnally found happiness ....
It was then i realised that ET was salt water fish
