Micheal is running through a house he's convinced is haunted. After all, what other reason is there for furniture to move around of its own volition, things to disappear into thin air, and the entire layout being stretched and warped as he's running through it. But what he doesn't expect is the possibility someone's controlling it all.717Please respect copyright.PENANATVDwRu7eXi
Micheal ran into the room at the end of the long hall and froze in the doorway, the sight before him freezing him in his tracks. There was a girl, somewhere around her early to mid-teens sitting on a table in the center of the room. She looked like she could be talking to her friends at the end of a class, her legs swaying slightly, her hands gripping the edge lightly, her head tilted so slightly so as to show listening, but not enough for it to seem more like some confused animal. Her hair was about shoulder-length and almost platinum blonde, and she seemed to be about 5'5" and an average weight. But her eyes were what made him freeze. They were completely blue, and casting an eerie light. He made a choking noise out of shock and she blinked once, the light leaving and her eyes turning a more blue-green color, twice, and they were the electric blue that was shining before, but concentrated in her irises now. She tilted her head to the side further, taking him in, before shoving herself off the table and smiling. "Hello! It's been ages since anyone has come this far into my house to see me. What's your name?"
Micheal tried to make a sound but his throat had closed off, trapping all sound with it.
The girl smacked her head. "Oh, stupid! You've been running through the maze I've been making, you must be thirsty!" She reached into thin air and pulled out a water jug and a glass. "Here, have some water. My name's Emily, though I go by Em. What's yours?"717Please respect copyright.PENANAk3lGGbi2Ei
Micheal didn't take the water, still overwhelmed by the fact that this girl was such a strong psychic she could control everything going on out there by herself. He made one last attempt to speak, and then did what any sensible person would do: he passed out on the spot.
